Well, I have my go to plumber now! I had a messed up shower valve, and needed a new cartridge and valve. I posted a job with pretty good detail of what I needed, and all but Rogel responded with someone that just wanted to set an appointment. But, Rogel himself responded, and I asked him to call me. He was knowledgeable and clearly understood what I needed done. He gave me two estimates, depending on what he needed to do. We set a date and time convenient for me. He showed up a few minutes early and had all the tools and fittings he needed. He took 20 minutes to see if he could go the less expensive route, but the valve itself was physically damaged. He replaced the valve from a crawlspace (not cutting granite), and installed the new cartridge. he checked and double checked that it was all good. He also kept me informed during the job what he was doing. At the end he honored his estimate. I had a great experience, and I will be using him next time I need plumbing.
