Excellent Company! Just look at all of their 5 star reviews on Google.
If you want cheap, hire a handyman. If you want quality & service and people that are vested in the Flathead Valley community with a shop right in the town of Kalispell, this is the company you want to contact. And they answer their phone!!

So after 1 1/2 years our ""state of the art"" boiler that Rocky Mountain Plumbing installed for thousands of dollars is defective and obsolete. We've been quoted between $3,500 and $6,000 to replace it with a ""state of the art"" one. I am dealing with the owner, Luke, now in trying to resolve this. I relied on them to install a reliable, efficient boiler. Apparently US Boiler is not one. Warranties from US Boiler and Rocky Mountain Plumbing should certainly cover the replacement. We'll see.

Agree with the previous reviewer. After they came out to take a look at my leaking water heater I received a $3,200 estimate to replace it. The price of the water heater was $2,500 on the estimate. When I questioned the price they told me I can get my own water heater and they will replace it for $1,100. So yes definitely on the pricier side either way. And yes I still had to pay the service charge to receive the bad news.

Rocky Mountain have always been extremely professional to deal with. Great efficiency, communication and very reliable!

This USED to be a good, reasonable operation. Now they are way overpriced. They replaced a pump in my basement in 2014, the pump cost $340, plus about $40 for labor. Now in 2019 they charged me $851 to replace the same pump. I figured it must be a bigger more expensive pump, but turns out the pump is smaller and costs $326. So basically, they charged me $525 for the 15 mins of labor it took for him to remove the old pump and attach the new one. The guy was at my house for less than 30 minutes.
I thought there might be some mistake, so I asked the owner if the guy who installed it had made a pricing mistake. The owner told me that it is a flat rate charge and I agreed to it, so basically too bad. He tried to tell me how prices have changed so much since 2014, apparently ignoring the fact that I pointed out that the pump was actually less expensive now.
I'm really irritated with myself for not checking Youtube first and seeing that I paid $525 to have a guy undo a clamp, unscrew a piece of pipe, screw back in a piece of pipe and screw back on the clamp. Next time it's a job that I can't do myself, I'll try to find someone who charges less than $525 for 15mins.
