I have used Rockstar for multiple jobs. They are very professional. They usually have people that can come out very fast. They are careful in my home. They are also flexible working downtown - hard to find many times because of building requirements and extra hoops to jump through. I would highly recommend them.

They have repaired my rooftop unit , cleaned my inside air handler, installed new registers into the existing ducting. tested and replaced thermostat.

To start, my dad and uncle are both plumbers and I grew up chasing tools for them. As such, I am very picky when it comes to plumbing and plumbers doing a good job.

We went through a bunch of chuckle heads who came out to look at our re-pipe before we settled with Rockstar.

We went with them because Francisco (the owner) came recommended by Darryl at San Diego Leak Detection, he was responsive, professional and also does HVAC work.

Our townhouse did not have AC and since we were going to have walls open to re-do the plumbing I figured this was a good time to have the AC done.

As such, we hired Rockstar to do our re-pipe and install and new AC system.

They got both tasks done quickly, they pulled permits and were great.

However, I had some issues with some stuff. I brought it up to Francisco and he wasn't to happy I was being picky about the work they did.

I did not want confrontation so I waited a couple days and sent Francisco a detailed email with all of the issues I had with their work.

His response was excellent.

He assured me that he would get all of the stuff done I wanted (which he did) and then apologized for the way he came off when we walked through the property.

This guy is a good guy, fixed all of the stuff I wanted him too and really went above and beyond to make me happy even through he probably didn't agree with some of the stuff I wanted him to do.

I would use these guys again and I will refer them to other people.

Called to get some maintenance when my AC wasn't working properly. They were friendly, prompt, and were there within the hour. The tech's were nice guys, and informed me of what they recommended going forward. I committed, told them I was in. It was Monday at the time, and the earliest they could come back was Friday at 8-9am. No problem.

Friday comes around, I wait around the house for several hours and around 2pm, I give up and go on with my day. No call of cancellation or anything. But whatever, didn't show, I'll just take my business elsewhere... no big deal. I'll live.

A month later after this incident, I'm checking my online banking statements and almost choked on my beef jerky when I saw I was charged $625 dollars. This is the type of stuff that could financially ruin someone if they are not prepared. A mistake that absolutely should not be made.

I just talked to a nice man on the phone, and I am now awaiting a refund. Sadly, I will never deal with this company again.

Our AC went out yesterday and it was 94 degrees and humid. Called all kinds of big companies and they told me next week. I called Rockstar the next morning and they sent Freddie out in 2 hours . He was polite and professional. He knew the dynamics of our Carrier unit. He diagnosed the problem in 60 seconds and left to go get a part. Came back in 45 minutes. Installed, and now we have cold air again. He then reminded me of changing my indoor filters ( they were filthy). He is a gem and we are very pleased. The cost of the part and labor were very reasonable. I would call them again in a heartbeat! Thanks Freddie.

They did all of our plumbing when we remodeled our kitchen and replaced a toilet. They replaced drain pipes and installed everything we needed. I'll call them for any future plumbing needs. I had lots of questions and Francisco was great answering them.

My experience with Rockstar Plumbing was not good. In early October, Francisco and his assistant came to troubleshoot my FAU that was making an occasional noise, and we are located in Mission Hills. He told me that the parts are unavailable for my FAU, and I have to replace the whole FAU! He also charged me to put some kind of tape on the FAU plus the minimum charge, both came to over $150.00.

I called another HVAC contractor, and he replaced motor/sensor/capacitor, etc., for a charge under $650.00. The new contractor told me that even for 30 year old FAUs parts are still available.

I guess Francisco was not too busy during that week and wanted to make his weekly nut by screwing a paisano. I would never call Rockstar again.

I will caution anyone who would be calling Rockstar, because this guy is the owner, but he acts as if he is the manager, and he charges an arm and a leg!

I had the chance to have Rockstar Plumbing Heating & Air worked on multiple properties. Francisco quick to response and easy to schedule to fit my needs. He has repaired all the jobs I'm able throw at him on any plumbing or HVAC problems. Excellent Service !

These guys are great. I called and explained my a/c issue and they scheduled a date, came out and repaired it quickly. After my last a/c experience I was sure glad to find these guys. It's hot out and I'm cool in my house.

I called Rockstar Pluming Heating & Air Conditioning. Francisco and his assistant arrived on time, they diagnosed the problem, the contactor was bad. While he told me what the problem was he's assistant fixed it while Francisco was billing me. They were at my house for a total of 15-20 minutes. Francisco originally asked for $469.00, then asked if I was military or senior, I am a senior, so he gave me a 10% discount, now $422.00. Before he was done billing me the unit was fixed.

I thought the price was high, but with a $90.00 service charge if I didn't get it fixed, I had it fixed. The price wasn't sitting right with me, so I did some investigation, turns out the contactor that was replaced cost $11.60 at Home Depot, that's without a contractors discount. I have a business, so I understand he needs to make money, but he doesn't need to get rich off people. I'll give Franscico a 400% mark-up, let's round it to the nearest $10.00, charge me $50.00 for the part. I understand he doesn't live next door, any service is going to charge a half hour travel time, that's what the $90.00 service fee is for if you don't have the work done. I guess what got me, was Franscico called me back the day before to change the appointment time because he had an 8 O'clock 10 minutes from my house, so I know they didn't travel the half hour, but, that part of the business. Charge me $100.00 an hour, so with the travel time and the time to fix the unit, it's one hour. That's a fair, I'll even add on another $19.00, making a fair price $269.00, not $469.00 down to $422.00 with senior discount, for a total of one hours work.

I truly feel violated, I would not recommend Rockstar Plumbing Heating & Air or Franscico to me worst enemy
