I called to get a quote and the gentleman was very helpful! He didn't try to sell me anything or pressure me at all. He answered all my questions and put my mind at ease. I will definitely keep them on my list of first people to call!

They know what they're doing but they need to work on professionalism they left a mess and didn't bring their own ladder. Not expecting to spot clean the whole place but some effort goes a long way.

Called on a Wednesday for plumbing issues (need leaking pipes replaced under kitchen sink) and made appointment for the following Friday at 2 pm.

No Show, so at 3 pm Friday, 2 hours after my scheduled appointment, I called and they said they had called and left several messages about rescheduling.
They had apparently called me on a non-business line and I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, so my bad, I guess..... except there were NO VOICE MESSAGES left for me! None! Zero! Nada!

Anyways, not a big deal so I rescheduled for next day, Saturday, at Noon.
Just before 10 am I get a call from a non-business line and risk answering it.
It is Chris from Rockstar Plumbing asking me to give him a brief description of the problem.
After I tell him, he asks me to sent him a photo of the under-sink space.... standard set up; drain pipe coming from garbage disposal, dropping through U-trap and going into wall.
2 hours later, when he is supposed to be AT MY HOUSE, Chris replies via text that ""there is a lot of work there"" (not really but...) and that he will send me an estimate.
2 hours after that (2:16 pm now) he texts that he will send me the estimate with the scope of work by the end of the day..... mind you that no one has come by yet and laid actual eyeballs on my plumbing so this is all based on MY description of the problem and a single photo. This does not give me a warm, fuzzy feeling, telling me how much something will cost without ever looking at it, but, whatever.

Radio Silence.... by 9 pm there is no text with estimate and I give up waiting.

Next day, Sunday at 8 am, I get a text from Chris saying he wanted to send me the estimate but he needed my email address. I assumed he'd text it to me but OK, I text him my email address.

Radio Silence again. Give up checking email at 9 pm.

Monday at 6 pm I get another text from Chris asking if I got the estimate because the email ""keeps getting kicked back"" to him.
He asks, via text, for me to email him so he can verify he has the correct email address from me (he does) and he'll ""respond with the estimate"".
So I send him an email that has ALL of my contact info in it; name, address, phone number, and email address not to mention my email in the To/From line.

Radio Silence yet again.

It is now Wednesday, 2 days after I provided my email address and *a full week after my initial call for service!*
No one has come by. No one has texted OR emailed me any information, or estimates... not even an apology.

If this is the level of customer service and attention to detail that this company provides, then I am glad they ghosted me.

Given the level of disrespect, lies, and wasted time, I can't even begin to imagine how horrible the actual work they perform would be.

I've used the same plumber since 2007 when we first moved here but he finally retired last year so I have been looking for another dependable plumber to replace him.
Obviously I need to keep looking because Rockstar ain't it.


Edit: Called a competitor they had someone out same day and repairs are being made for a reasonable price.

Rockstar has called several times since this review posted offering apologies and discounts. While I appreciate the effort, it is literally too little, too late.

Trevor (a rockstar in his own right!), called me to confirm the night before, and twice on the ""day of."" Something I've never experienced w/ any other plumbing contractor. He arrived on-time, was very pleasant, well-mannered, easy to understand and an a great guy! Trevor and Rockstar, set the standard by which ALL other plumbing contractors should be judged. SO refreshing, particularly w/ the many complaints on Yelp, about some other plumbers. I stand by Trevor/Rockstar and will DEFINITELY use them again and proudly refer this company! Trevor & Rockstar: you're both ROCKSTARS!

I cannot say enough good things about Rockstar Plumbing and our plumber Trevor in particular. In the past, I've had horrendous experiences with L.A. plumbers who show up late, are unfriendly, and charge a fortune. Trevor was right on time, could not have been nicer, his price quote was reasonable, and he even spent extra time showing us how to clean our rain forest shower heads. If you need a great plumber, I highly recommend giving Rockstar Plumbing and Trevor a call. They rock!

Josh, was amazing. I had called him for a toilet fix and he also took a look at the drip irrigation leak and help seal it.
When we could not turn the water main on at night he got in a call and guided us. Amazing customer service for sure !!

had a corroded, leaking pipe under our kitchen sink. Called Rockstar Plumbing, they came out, provided a fair quote and took care of it right then and there. Couldn't be happier with the result, will definitely use them again for all our plumbing needs.
