Brian and Rocket plumbing have been extremely helpful and knowledgable. My wife and I had no idea that we were supposed to drain and flush your water heater once a year. We have always heard a knocking sound from our old water heater and now we know that it is sediment that can build up a knock around.

He told us not to throw things down our drains that were causing us problems like egg shells and coffee grounds.

It is one thing to just come to someone's home and provide a service, but to give a homeowner the knowledge that will help prevent future problems really set Rocket Plumbing apart from all the other plumbing companies I have dealt with.

My experience was great! I called for service on a Saturday and I got a call back from Chris within 10 minutes. I told him the time frame I was available and he was able to come to my rescue the same day. Chris came on time and got the job done quickly. He kept the area clean and was very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend Rocket Plumbing!

Chris from Rocket Plumbing has come out a few times over the last month to fix various things around the house. We are very, very happy with all the work he has done. He was extremely thorough, and carefully explained all our options and the work he was doing. We are confident all the work he did was top-notch and done by the book. Would def recommend Rocket Plumbing for any job, big or small.

Their website is plastered with the assurance that it costs $35 for them to come out to the house. The plumber who arrived said it was $140. When I referred him to the website, he said
""Oh, that must be our Chicago site.""
""Really. The one that says you're at Westwood and Olympic.""
He had no answer.
In fact, he had no answer for a lot of things. Every time I asked him a question - especially one that showed I had a clue about plumbing - he simply ignored me.

As for my leak, he said my fixture was old and it would be nigh impossible to find a replacement stem to fix the leak. And then, even if he were to find one, it would cost another $140 for him just to show up again, plus parts and labor.

As soon as he was gone, I went down the street to the nearest hardware store, and replaced the stem myself. No more leak.

EDIT: The owner, Brian, gave me a call in response to my review. He seemed genuinely distressed (as he should be) and told me his man plain and simply got it wrong about the travel fee.

We had our kitchen sink clogged and Chris came to fix it. He was really good about keeping me updated on when he would get to our house, especially since LA traffic is so unpredictable. He was super friendly and got the job done! He also fixed our guest bathroom toilet which was making a funny noise. My only issue was cost. We used another company in Culver City and it was 1/2 the cost to do the same thing. Brian was really great and called the next day to follow up.

So far I am very pleased. I found them on Yelp and figured I'd try them out based on the good reviews. I have no idea of how their pricing competes with others, but I didn't have time to shop around as I had a 24 hour window to repair a gas line. Within 24 hours the line was repaired and all was good. Good communication and follow up too.

This guys were quick! I called them to come fix a clogged toilet at my work, and they came within the hour. Nice people and reasonably priced.
