Elaine M.This call was a waste of time and money. Rob's plumbing came to the house, said twice he couldn't do anything because it was raining. Never did diagnose the interior water problem. So no fix at all, he even used our tools. The only thing he brought in to the house was the bill. No emergency warrants calling him. Our wallet is $400+ lighter. Lesson learned.
Didn't want to give one star but I had to if I wanted to write a review. should have read the reviews first before I hired this guy. He charges per hour but seems like he takes his time to milk the clock. A job that should have been an half an hour turns to over an hour. Company is ridiculously expensive. Just spent 1000 for nothing. Definitely looking for another plumber for next time.
Tim T.SCAM ALERT! Don't waste your time with this guy unless you like having peoples hands in your pockets before evening seeing the job. Called him 3pm in the afternoon for a quick fix leaking sink (down the road from him) and all he did was complained how he just got home and didn't feel like going back out. Calls the next day and the first thing he says is "" Before i go there I get paid $85.00 even if i don't do the work and anything after is $150.00 an hour. NO THANK YOU! Just amazing how jerks like this think they can just muscle and extort money out of you because you need a little plumbing fixed. I'm sure his work is as good as his personality. Just a warning people. I could smell his sleaziness through the phone. Read the other reviews and I'm sorry those people got taken.
Called Rob for no heat in my home... he came right out and fixed it immediately. He charged me a great price seeing it was after hours like other plumbing and oil companies... Fast and Prompt Service...I highly recommend Rob to anyone I know. I will never have a service contract with my oil supplier again. Rob will always get my work
Rob is GREAT! I met him 5 years ago when my decrepit furnace called it quits in the middle of a cold snap. I made several desperate phone calls; Rob was the first to get back to me. He sneaked me into his busy schedule, explained what he was doing as he addressed the problem, and left me with heat. He's been keeping my old furnace alive ever since, responding quickly whenever something else gives out. Always, he details the possible/probable price of the repair then explains what he's doing and why. His knowledge and skill continue to astound me; his honesty is priceless. Rob is my trusted ""furnace guy,"" and I feel truly lucky that he answered that first call five years ago!
Rob was very professional and explained everything in great detail. He explained why things broke down, the different option we had to fix the problem an how each option would benefit us. He worked with us to keep the costs down as much as possible.
He did a great job with the installation of the new water heater and pressure tank. His work was top notch and left the area clean. Also explained everything he was doing as he did it to help educate me as to what to look for in the future. It was not the least expensive option but you get what you pay for and Rob did a high quality job. Job was done on 8-14-17.
Professional, honest and knowledgeable.Nothing worst then not having hot water unexpectedly. Rob did a great job of investigating the issue and uncovering years of erosion because of simple mistakes that were made by big name vendors that serviced our system over the years. We are grateful that the service provided was excellent. The cost was warranted. We are pleased with the services provided and will use in the future.
Douglas M.No stars. I am well aware that calling a plumber in an emergency is costly....but have some decency. This man came to my house and turned off 2 valves and then told me my water heater was shot...as if the inch of water I was standing in didn't clue me in....406 dollars I was charged. The following day I asked about an install price, thinking he might work with me with the 400 he already took for basically nothing other than what I previously stated. Nope. Wanted another 500 to install a water heater that I already bought and then expected me to pick it up (and I'm aware this would have been a courtesy because other plumbers including the one I hired picked it up for me to help out) My wife spoke to him on the phone, and this is what has annoyed me more than anything.....she asked if he could help us out, anything...please split the difference...and his reply was ""That's the way it works SWEETIE. I don't refund money"" I shall say no more, this is not a decent person...completely took advantage of us in an emergency situation. Have a Merry Christmas (expletive name)
Way Overpriced. Just had mid-Hudson Plumbing deliver and install a new water heater, and haul away the old one for cheaper than Rob replaced a garbage disposal and receptacle.
