Our warranty service called these guys out to fix our water softener. One look at the SEARS unit, they declared the unit as needing to be fixed and left and took our service call money along with them. No testing, no diagnosis, just dumped in 6 bags of salt and left. While they may be good at other plumbing things, they should never have been called out to fix something they were unfamiliar with. I called someone else and they came out and diagnosed the venturi just needed some cleaning and the top valve unit was cloged, it now works!

I noticed the leak between home foundation and cement deck after purchasing home. Home Warranty company assigned Robles & Son as contractor. They came, assessed the leak and proposed to dig 15ft tunnel under cement deck to cap the sprinklers under the deck which caused the leak. The cost of repair was over $6k. I'm not a specialist but to me the plan sounded hideous and I called another company on my own. They came today, made a full assessment of my sprinkler system, fixed pressure, found main line and all wiring and gave me full report of my sprinkler system. Nothing of this was done by Robles & Son! But in addition they determined that there are additional leaks which I haven't seen caused by the same dead line of sprinklers under deck. They dug small hole, capped dead line. It took them 1 hour for assessment and repair and in total cost me $320. I disputed $75 charge with Robles as you can't charge people for assessment which you don't know how to do. Please don't destroy people properties by doing job in which you are not competent, like sprinklers for example.

Garbage disposal was no longer working. Saw positive reviews for Robles and Sons Plumbing on NextDoor app. Called and made an appointment. They came out and accessed the problem and gave me an estimate. I am very pleased with their work. They were timely, meticulous and affordable. I recommend Robles & Sons Plumbing.

Also had the misfortune of doing business with Robles and Sons Plumbing today. Had a minor pipe leak due to the freezing weather this weak and was able to shut the main off and tear out the drywall to expose the problem. The repair required a 3 foot piece of PEX tubing and two coupler fittings which took 20 min for them to repair. They quoted $255 which I thought was reasonable considering the circumstances and timing. Provided my credit card and when I looked at the charge online it had a $505 charge. After a friend contacted the company they claimed the additional $250 was for a service fee. They prey on people during times like this and now I see they add charges to many others. Please don't fall for what I experienced and never use a business that takes advantage of customers in tough times.

Very happy with the service that Manny provided. Although additional problems were found after digging under the foundation, Manny always immediately showed me any additional issues and and how they might have occurred. Highly recommend. An honest plumber.

Gave us a date and time he would show up. After an hour late we called and he said he was running late would be there in another 2 hours. Then he was a NO SHOW. AND they wouldn't respond to text messages nor did they call.

After the purchase of our home, we had a leak.
The home warranty company sent out this company to evaluate.
It was determined that the leak was not standard wear and tear so they did not cover the repair.
We allowed Robles to do the work and paid them $300+.
After the work was complete, the tech (he said he was an owner) took a picture of the completed job..
Gave me an excuse of why he was taking picture.
Come to find out, the purpose of taking a picture was so he could get paid by the home warranty company.. an additional $200+ on top of what they charged us.. Amazing.. .. I DO NOT like people who try and deceive and lie.. If I would have known Robles was going to bill the home warranty to get additional payment for the non covered work , by showing proof with a picture that repair was completed, I would have sent them on their way and hired someone else.

* WOULD NOT USE ROBLES AND SONS *This will be a long review but worth the read!!!!! We had a gas leak recently, and Atmos promptly turned off the gas. Of course, this happened during the coldest stretch of days in Dallas this year, so we were desperate to get our hot water and heat back on. We called a plumber that we had used previously to see if he would be able to help. Unfortunately, he did not do weekend calls and he referred to us to Robles & Sons Plumbing.
After Atmos had already diagnosed the gas leak, they came out and stated that would have to run their own test. They then "diagnosed" the problem for $585 and produced an invoice stating that we would need 35ft of new pipe (costing $102 /ft) to be put in to fix the problem. This along with material fillings and other charges would put us at about $5,100 for the job. This seemed high at the time, but we were really desperate to get this thing fixed so we could live in our house. The other plumbers I called were not available until several days out, so we were sort of out of luck. Plus, I will admit I didn't know how much this stuff actually cost at the time.
Over the next couple of days, the Robles & Sons team came out and did the work. I requested to be provided with a receipt for the materials for which I was paying so much money for. The total materials costs on the receipt, including the 35ft of pipe, was $296.00. I was charged $3,570 for the pipe alone on the invoice. I assume this also included the "no hassle flat fee", the amount of which I am still usure.
In summary our invoice read as such:
1. Material Filling - $350.00
2. Replace tee on Distribution - $779.00
3. Access Hole - $250.00
4. Sedemint Traps - $170.00
5. Pipe 35ft - $102 /ft, $3,570
6. Total = $5,119
I will admit right now that I was stupid to go for this offer. I was desperate and overwhelmed with the situation. However, after looking into the hourly rates for average plumbers in the area, I believe we were grossly overcharged. I called three other plumbers for quotes and googled the rates in the area, coming to the conclusion that the averge hourly rate is around $150 /hour. So taking out the materials costs for the pipe, that leaves us with about $3,274 of what I can only assume is the flat rate labor charge. (Once again the flat rate was never made clear). They worked for 12 hours on the job which would have them billing at a rate of $273 an hour. This is completely outrageous, and I wish I would have caught on to this sooner.
Then the city came out to retest the pipes, and what do you know? It's still leaking! After going back in and assessing the issue further, the city came back out and finally gave us the okay to get our gas turned on. At the end of the day, we feel taken advantage of by this company. I would encourage you to look elsewhere for your plumbing needs!!!!!!!
