My water heater died. Robinett plumbing came out on the same day as my call (Friday) with a new Rheem one that had a 12 year warranty. I chose the best unit over the lesser 8 year warranty choices that he had. He works clean and has a pleasant manner. 2 thumbs up people.

Curtis and his assistant did an OUTSTANDING job servicing my 70 year-old floor heater today.
My wife claimed she smell gas.
This is why we called Robinett plumbing, due to their extensive experience with floor heaters.
They vacuumed the heater, test ran it and performed a smoke test on the vent stack to ensure there's no leaks.
They even layed down tarps to protect my hardwood floors.
One of the many reasons I liked Robinette plumbing is, they didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need, such as a new wall thermostat. Mine is like 40 years old...lol.

Just a note,
this company is highly recommended on ""Next Door"" when it comes to repairing and servicing the old floor heaters.

We've worked with Robinett for a few years and Cris and Curtis are beyond amazing--kind, ethical, they know EVERYTHING about Long Beach residences and never do work that's not required--and also do things we never even knew needed to be done (that would have caused huge issues and money later). They are also the most generous and kind humans who end up giving you a place to buy a plant or a recommendation for a car painter; they exemplify family business and generally being excellent professionals with good hearts. Recently they addressed an immediate issue with 15 minutes notice and came right away. It's rare to find excellent and knowledgeable professionals who also care about their work and the people/homes they work with--you'd be lucky to have them around!

I chose them because they're a family business that's been around for decades, and they specialize in old plumbing. My house was built in 1928, so it has many kinds of antiquated pipes. I am not an expert in plumbing costs, but their quote seemed reasonable and I was happy to pay it.
