Robert came out, was on time and very professional. He assessed my problem and gave me some different options. He then gave me his profesional opinion on how to deal with the situation so I wouldn't have problems in the future. The price he quoted me for parts and labor seemed very reasonable. He completed the work cleaned up his mess properly and then charged me $50 less than what he originally quoted me. My opinion is Don't hassle with unscrupulous plumbers and let Robert get it done for you.

I had been having ongoing root issues in a sewer line on a rental property. It was causing the water to back up and many tenant complaints. After having the line snaked many times a year for several years, and costly I might add, i had to do something else about it and someone referred me to Roberts Plumbing and Rooter Services. Robert came out and vaporrooted and hydro jetted the line and I haven't had a problem since. It's been about 12 months with no issues. And more importantly no tenants calling to complain about a problem.

This has been turned over to the Better Business Bureau (almost two months ago) and you have been unresponsive.

In summary; June 2018 I paid you $1,000 to administer the Vaporooter product to BOTH sides of my house. You gave me a one year warranty. By October the west side of our house was having issues. The plumber came out and said the line was filled with roots. I wrote you on November 4th and you finally replied to me on November 15th stating you were down three men and 'going crazy trying to keep up.' That's when you confirmed you didn't even treat the west side of the house! You said you would come back out but would be charging me $450 the first 2 hours then $200 for each additional hour and then $350 for the Vaporooter treatment. What? You didn't even do the job the job the first time for $1,000!

Then, this past April, we discovered roots on the WEST side of the house; the side you actually did treat. So, the Vaporooter product is ineffective. At this point I contacted Scott Johnson, V.P. of Douglas Products, the producer of the Vaporooter product. They do not stand behind their product and their customer service is shameful.

Like I said, this is now in the hands of the Better Business Bureau. Initially, I only wanted half my money back (since you did half the job) to cover additional plumbing costs. But now I am demanding a full refund; the product does not work and the hassles have been beyond my comprehension. As I stated to Douglas Products, I really did NOT want to write a negative review on Yelp as I had hoped we could get this resolved, but you and Douglas Products have left me no choice.

I want to insure this does not happen to any other unsuspecting homeowners who have invasive root problems and might think Vaporooter is a viable product.

I've been using Robert as my plumber for the last 19 years. He came recommended by my mom who had used him for years prior to that (and she is a pretty tough customer). He has never let me down. He always gets right back to me when I call and has always been fair with the cost. I have very old pipes - original from 1965 - and he has taken care in dealing with them. I know they won't last forever but I also know I can count on Robert to give me an honest assessment of what is going on. When my entire house backed up (tub, sinks, toilets), he and Sergio came after their last evening appointment and spent almost 3 hours taking care of the job. So here is my 5 star review. Thank you, Robert, for all you've helped me with over the years.

On a side note, I am floored by the negative review here. I recommended Robert for an emergency plumbing issue for my friend where they had to dig into her driveway to fix the issue. It was major work. She had other quotes and Robert gave her the best, combined with my recommendation. This friend, like my mom, is the type that will call you out if you're not clear and fair or you're fluffing your wallet with HER money. I would never have recommended Robert if I didn't have confidence in him. I definitely don't want to hear about what my recommendation screwed up! She was completely satisfied. I had Robert use jetting equipment to prep for a pipe repair that I was getting ready to make. He used camera equipment to verify the line was completely clear and to assure the location of the section of pipe that I was going to repair.

Robert has been our plumber for many years now and has always done a great job. We call him whenever we have a plumbing problem. The main issue he has helped us with are the tree roots in our backyard that are messing with our pipes. He has a great system called ""Vaporooter"" that kills the tree roots and keeps our plumbing running smoothly. Robert is very fair, professional and HONEST. I highly recommend him to anyone needing help with their plumbing.

Ignore the negative review from Janet S. because I guarantee you he is a good guy and very knowledgeable. He would never do anything dishonest. I'm sure there is more to the story then she is telling.

Robert was fabulous! Three plumbers could not fix our plumbing situation and it was an ugly one! Robert was on time and professional. Unlike the first couple of plumbers who had recommended the most expensive and invasive solution for our problem (breaking concrete on a slab house); Robert started working on the issue using his skills and knowledge not jumping to elaborate means first. Robert is an honest guy, the previous plumbers talked about how we will need to reroute our kitchen pipes (sounds expensive right!), he said not to do that unless I have ""money to burn"". If this occurs again, his recommendation is to let him ""flush it out"" first. He was quick and efficient, explaining what he was going to do and helping me understand the issue we had. My sinks are draining faster than before! I highly recommend Robert, he saved the day!

USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK!

In December, I filed legal action against this company and received a Judgment in our favor AGAINST Robert's Plumbing and Rooter Services. Update: This fool wasted everyone's time by APPEALING the Judgment against him. Our new trial was finally heard on April 21, 2017 and once again, a new judge ALSO RULED AGAINST this lying fool, Robert Waddell, who doesn't know a broken pipe from simple root buildup.

Background: Last June another plumbing company who could not clear our main sewer line after two ""alleged"" attempts referred us to Robert's Plumbing (obviously friends). The first plumbing company declared that we had a broken pipe and marked the location. Ironically enough, Robert claimed that they also could not clear it and that the pipe was ""broken"" and marked it in the same location as the first guy. Can you tell they had been ""talking?"" Robert told me that we had no other choice but to start digging and that the repair cost with the first plumber could be between $7,000 and $10,000. So, we did start digging and over $2,000 later and an 8' DRY hole, discovered from the City that we simply had roots in our main line.

Therefore, I called out a new plumbing company who said they were sure they could clear it and if not, they would not charge me. This new plumber also informed me that hydro jetting is worthless. Well, guess what? After not having proper plumbing in our home for over a week, this new plumber successfully CLEARED our main sewer line in LESS than 15 minutes with a regular cable machine!! He put his camera down there and showed me the water flowing all the way into the City's main sewer line, WAY beyond the spot marked by Robert's Plumbing. And further, this new plumber felt bad for us and wouldn't charge us anything.

Robert's Plumbing website states that ""There Is No Blockage I Can't Get Through."" Well, Robert, apparently that is just another lie and/or you were allegedly working in cahoots with your friend, ""Bobby"" at J&D Plumbing. The first judge agreed with us, and now a second judge has as well. Thanks for wasting everyone's time, Robert.

I DO NOT recommend using this company. The owner, Robert Waddell, is cocky, arrogant, and has a bit of trouble controlling his temper.
