Steve Roberto is by far the worst and most unprofessional plumber I have ever worked with. When I was building my new home recently in the Hudson Valley he rarely showed up to the job site as scheduled but when he did, his plumbing work was so shoddy that in the end, I had to hire a different and more competent plumber to redo everything that he did incorrectly. My house did not hold pressure in order to pass a basic plumbing inspection. Several pex pipes were left open in my ceilings which we had to open to locate after the walls and ceilings were closed up. Hot water came out of our cold faucets and cold water out of hot. Bathroom sinks were installed at wrong heights even though he was given detailed drawings, elevations and plumbing schedules from my architect. He never fully hooked up my HRV system and my new plumber had to locate the wires in the walls that he never bothered to connect to the system. My new HVAC system that he installed had to be completely rewired. The list goes on and on but I'm sure you've got the picture by now. All this guy really seemed to care about was collecting a check. I don't have any plumbing experience but I believe I probably could have done a better job doing it myself watching some YouTube videos on Plumbing.

We feel very lucky to have found Steve Roberto. We bought a house in Saugerties and he worked for the previous owner. We've had several issues post closing including a pipe freeze and a flood. Not only has he come and fixed our hot water heater and some minor leaks, but after the flood he came and fixed major leak that Heckeroth Plumbing (the TERRIBLE company that our building manager brought in) missed. He He's thorough, reasonably priced and you never have to wonder if you are being upcharged. Everything you want, honest and excellent work.
