3 years ago Sessa Plumbing installed a new boiler in my building. All seemed fine until last week when National Grid was checking something in my building . They turned off the gas and took the meter because the pipe size to the boiler was incorrect. I reached out to Richie at Sessa. He said he would call me later and never got back to me. I called a few other plumbers who all came to look at the situation. I learned that the boiler was not installed to code. Also, it was not filed with the city and this is causing me additional costs and aggravation.

If there's a PhD in plumbing, Bob Sessa
would have one for sure. He actually IS a Master Plumber and we were so impressed with his 'think-first act later' approach. He suggested a few diagnostic actions and when we were still getting the 'drip' he came and pinpointed the issue. He cut a 6"" square hole in EXACTLY the right spot and there it was. An ancient pipe had breached. Anyone else would have torn open the whole wall.
My husband and I were SO pleased with Robert Sessa's work. And, when he finished his complicated repair, he left the bathroom immaculate. I was so impressed and thankful.
He's the real deal. We are thrilled that we have a trusted, go-to plumber now.

I'm leaving a review on Bob Sessa even though I still have a major leak issue still but the reason I'm leaving a 5 star review is for Bob the person. He responded promptly and came over right away. He spent several hours cutting strategic spots to locate my leak which is underground instead of making a mess and when he realized the job needed more man power, he took the time to make calls to get me another plumber who had the manpower to complete the job. I am still deciding on which plumber to hire. But Bob is truly a honest plumber. He's very knowledgeable and doesn't waste your time. Absolute professional. So please call Bob for any of plumbing issues. You won't be sorry.

Would recommend Bob anytime. Does exactly what he states on his website. Utilized his service for an free estimate through pictures send by email. He responded the same day. I would recommend, that it would be better to have him come out to look at the job as he charges very little as compared to other plumbers. He is honest and upfront about the parts that may need replacing. I suggest checking out his website and youtube channel as it is very informative.

A few days ago I was looking for a plumber becasue the last few years I've had nightmare issues with my boiler. I found him on line and tried him. WELL! I have to say, this was the most HONEST, trustworthy, PROMPT, AND inexpensive plumber I have ever used! Not only did he fix the issue with my NEW boiler that the installers couldn't fix, and charged me peanuts! He even recommended I call them and have them try to get the part I need under warranty because it might run $4-500. Well Mr. Robert Sessa, founder (but no longer affiliated with) Sessa Plumbing. Ref: Replacement hot,cold laundry shut off valves. Called office last night (5 days before Christmas) made appointment for 8:30am next morning. I received a confirmation via text message that my appointment was set and Bob phoned back within an hour. Next morning his office sent a ""on my way"" text. Bob was arrived on time. I received a fair/reasonable estimate and commenced work immediately. Bob completed the job within a hour. I have found a true old school local plumber who actually shows up when called. I will call no one but Robert Sessa Plumbing to handle any future plumbing issue. THERE IS A REASON WHY HE HAS A ""5 STAR"" RATING!

Wow! Had a clogged sewer line to street. Bob called back within an hour and talked me through unplugging it. No charge! How often does that happen? I can't recommend him enough. In a city full of crooked contractors it's difficult to find an honest one! Bob is the man!

Robert is prompt, responsive, professional, informative and experienced. He showed up right on time, and fixed my problem, even throwing in an extra repair part for no additional fee. After he finished the work, he showed me everything that he did and explained everything to me in simple terms. He also went ahead and labeled important parts in my hot water system (emergency shut off valve, gas valve, etc.), in case I need to tend to the system during an emergency. Definitely recommend.

UPDATE: Robert came back a couple weeks later, the same day I contacted him, as I had a minor issue with my radiators -- he explained how they work, and how to bleed them for maximum efficiency, and did this house check-up call at no additional charge. He's simply the best.
