Recommended Customer Reviews
We called Robert Jones to take a look at something. We received a window from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM with no show and no call. Someone then showed up at 4:00 PM with no phone call warning, looked at the water hook-up and left without saying a word to us. We had to find another plumber to assist us but still received a bill 2 months later for $100. When we tried to call to discuss the invoice, the lady on the phone was very rude. She insisted that our window was in the morning, argued that she personally left 2 voice mails about the service, which we did not receive and then argued that we needed to pay because we were already receiving a discount, even though they did nothing. We will never use this company again. Not only is the service awful, the customer service is even worse. We do not recommend them!
AWFUL experience. Will NEVER use them again. Late both times they were scheduled with no call. Flooded my basement when they were jetting the pipes with no verbal warning, telling me to move my items or had a wet vacuum. Also the employee Ron smoked in my yard. When I asked him to stop he said he was on the sidewalk. Mind you, he was on a job.
I asked for the owner to call me to discuss my concerns. No call back.
Terrible customer service, awful knowledge of plumber and horrendous communication. I wish I could give negative stars.
Rick L.Disappointing! Estimator advised me that I had galvanized metal pipe for service from meter, over $4000 to replace. Plumber arrives and advises me that this was not correct and advised a filtration system at over $2000. I agreed, the plumber never showed for that work, after several calls I was informed that they could not find my ticket. Unprofessional, unreliabe and a company that you should absolutely run from.
I had Robert Jones do lots of work for me since Feb. they were great and helpful at first and I paid them a lot of money. Then it changed. I had some more issues they started not showing up on time canceling the day of. Then this last time was pretty crazy. I had some leaking pipes in my crawlspace, first they canceled twice the day of. The first guy came and literally put a copper pipe into the grey pipe just stuffed it in there. He did not check any other pipes in the area and guess what they were all leaking as well. The second guy came and then replaced all the work of the first guy. I got home from work checked the area and their was water dripping at a bucket an hour in the crawlspace from a disconnected air conditioner condensation line. I was trying to have the crawl space repaired the next day had an insulation company coming but now all sudden after they left I had some pipe I had never seen dumping water into the crawlspace. I called them right away trying to get them back out and they said no problem they would send the on call guy. The on call guy called and said he was on his way, then never showed. We called until about ten o clock at night trying to get someone out for a large amount of water in my crawlspace and they then proceeded to just ignore us. Next day they claimed on call guy was supposed to tell us he wasn't coming....well it was an emergency that they told us they were coming then blew us off and acted like it was OK, not to count how much water got dumped in my crawlspace. That day the guy came back to repair that ac line they had two guys run the ac line outside. When they were leaving they proceeded to run over my flowerpot (like a big giant flowerpot) solar light and my pole wit my address on it. They did not come in and tell me it wasn't until later that it was discovered and I can see them do it on my ring camera. They backed up, stopped then got out did something then drove off. I contacted Robert Jones they asked me to send pictures which i did, they said the owner Bob Jones (owner) would contact me it has been well over a week. We then got a bill for 2500 dollars including the work from the first guy that the 2nd guy replaced. I would be careful with this company and their customer service is well as you can pretty terrible. Thanks
We had a terrible experience with this company. We had them come out to fix a backed up drain and they ended up breaking our pipes. When we called to ask them for a solution, they basically said we'll need to find another plumbing company. They refused to take any responsibility for the damage their plumber caused and have left us with a much bigger, more expensive issue then the one they we called to fix.
Beware! Long story short: My wife and I called Robert Jones Plumbing to fix a bathroom sink that wouldn't drain. The plumber came, forced a large auger through our 1.5 inch pipes and punched right through the bottom of a 90 degree bend. Now, if we use the bathroom sink, water gushes into the floor. Robert Jones plumbing washed their hands of the situation, (but obviously not in our broken sink)! They told us they wouldn't charge us (gee thanks guys!), but that we would need to find another plumber to fix their problem (as well as the original problem for which we called them in the first place!
We called in a contractor to remove part of the floor to get to the leak they caused, and he was scandalized. He said, this would take them no more than about $50 worth of parts and a little labor to replace that bend. He said it is unmistakable that the auger caused the problem, and that he can't believe they didn't just apologize and fix the problem at no cost. He said that the position of the hole indicates that it could only be caused by ""jamming a large auger through the pipe, rather than gently getting it through the bend. It punched right through the bottom of the bend"".
Additionally, my wife who was home when the original plumber first came to the house, was treated very disrespectfully. He became immediately agitated when she requested a written estimate rather than just let him start working. She had to call me at work to get me to speak with him. He responded shortly and aggressively to respectful questions any homeowner would ask in that situation, and then just left! This whole ordeal has lasted about a week, and we have been without our bathroom sink.
Robert Jones Plumbing has not acted in good faith. They are extremely defensive, very unprofessional, and clearly have not navigated this situation with any concern for ethics, whatsoever. Be very cautious if using this company.
Robert Jones Plumbing was recommended to me today so I called and requested a service call. Kevin came to my home this afternoon and was prompt, professional, and courteous. I will recommend and use Robert Jones Plumbing from now on!
We all hate it when a water heater goes out suddenly. The time came for mine to quit and so I went to the Home Depot and wow, their prices on water heaters are pretty high and their installation prices are nuts. I called around a few plumbers and was told they could get someone out in a couple of days and their prices seemed pretty high, on par with Home Depot. I called Robert Jones Plumbing and was able to get a service technician out to my house within a couple hours and got a commercial grade heater installed at a great price. The technician worked fast and cleaned the area up nicely and then gave me some operating tips to help prolong the life of the heater. What could have been a multi day inconvenience was resolved within a matter of hours by a dedicated professional. Hats off to Robert Jones Plumbing and their entire staff which turned a big headache for me into a minor inconvenience.
Thomas C.I have dealt with this company on two occasions and both times it has worked out well. I am particularly impressed with they're prompt service. Sometimes they took care of the problem on the same day I reported a problem. Many times it takes weeks to get a plumber to your home. The plumbers are experienced and not just apprentices.
Alana S.Used Robert Jones plumbing because I saw one of their vans in the neighborhood. They came out and did nice trouble shooting on my main home, which we are in the process of selling and under a time crunch. Repair job was done and they cleaned up. At my rental, they helped troubleshoot a potential leak and installed a faucet for me. Very pleasant and helpful service.
Customer service worked with me and the realtor so that invoice stated what it needed according the contract.
Will definitely use again and refer family/friends to.
