Robert is seriously the best. We were referred to him by a neighbor several years ago and we are so grateful that he's our ""official"" plumber. He's responsive, kind, and gives us straight answers. Most recently we had a plumbing problem that required a different plumbing company with some specialized equipment to come out. After diagnosing the problem they quoted us over 1700 hundred to fix it. We called Robert for a second opinion and he fixed it for a fraction of the cost. A fraction! Anyway, call Robert first!

We hired Robert to do the plumbing on our project, a new construction ADU in Arroyo Grande. Everything was going fine until after the structure was built. He had run the sewer line way too low out of the foundation (under the footings). This turned out to be a costly error of about $6,000 to which Robert accepted no responsibility. This was a hard pill to swallow. We now have to have a crew cut into the street sewer main to get the proper slope so the water runs out correctly. I had 3 plumbing companies come out to bid the job that were certified to do street work, all of which said that, in fact, Robert had set the sewer line way too low. I then get a text from Robert saying that he won't be coming back to finish the job either.
I understand that people make mistakes. But as a contractor myself, I also understand that you accept at least some responsibility and work to solve the problem. This man did nothing. He left us stranded will a major fix and no plumber. To add insult to injury, he broke his contract via text message.
I have never written a negative review but feel responsible to share my experience with Elke plumbing as a warning to others.

Great Guy; Great Service...I have had Robert install a Hot Water Tank, recessed line to fridge, repair line to washer and now, just recently, new toilet (complete with bidet :) He is responsive, on-time, reasonable, and efficient and effective. I would, without hesitation, recommend him.

Great experience with Robert and very happy with the work product. Robert is skilled, experienced and very easy to work with. He is a great guy and I feel lucky to have found such a professional, reasonably priced plumber. He had helped me repair plumbing and gas lines and install new fixtures and toilets.
