Recommended Customer Reviews
If I could give zero stars I would. I would not have them in my household. I was not told or notified that they were coming into my home - because if I was notified or had a contact information I would have been aware and let them know what time I would be available - however I was outside with my dog When they arrived and when I entered my house my back door was wide open and because I have a dog I asked if I can put him away since I was unaware someone would be there at the time. The man proceeded to call me an asshole and was slamming his van doors and yelling. For a professional and out of just sheer respect for someone who lives and works in this home, this is unacceptable. I would stay away!
I have been using Pat from Robert A. Brydon Plumbing & Heating for many years. This company goes above and beyond to resolve all types of plumbing and heating issues. The time Pat spends to troubleshoot a problematic situation shows me how much he takes pride in his work and reputation. This company thrives on cleanliness in the work environment and keeping everything in a professional matter. Also, I have been very impressed as to the fact that they insist upon wearing masks and take careful precautions to keep the customers safe due to the Covid Pandemic.
Again, I would highly recommend this highly professional company for all types of plumbing and heating concerns. Total thumbs up!!!

Patrick D.A business established in 1933, does not have that type of longevity, with the other person's review as a method of operation.
Recently (April 2015) I had an unfortunate experience with Brydon plumbing. I called for repair of two running toilets and one slow drain. After the repairs, the plumber handed me an invoice. After he handed me the invoice but before he left, the plumber and I together heard one toilet still running which obviously hadn't been properly fixed. Plumber now said he didn't have the necessary part for that repair but would shortly return to finish the repair. He specifically told us not to pay until he returned and finished the job. Plumber never returned; after a few days, I called the office to follow up. In the mail I received the full invoice, including parts and labor for the toilet which had not been fixed. I assumed it was just a miscommunication between the plumber and his home office. When I called to discuss, I got a very very nasty person who belittled ""people like me"" (not sure exactly what he means) and he called me a four-letter profanity. I said I wanted to pay for the repairs which had been made but wait to pay for the third item until it actually was repaired-- I asked for the cost of the two items which had been repaired so I could write that check. He wouldn't give me any reduction for the item which hadn't been fixed-- he simply repeated over and over ""don't pay-- I'll send it to collection"". On my own volition, I'm sending a check for 80% of the original invoice to cover the repairs which had been made (which is certainly an overpayment on my part). This is perhaps the most unprofessional, nasty ""professional"" I have ever encountered-- very unhappy to be forced to leave this review.
If I could give zero stars, I would. We paid Pat at Brydon to do a dishwasher installation along with other plumbing jobs. We paid him more than twice what the appliance store charged just for the dishwasher installation and it was done wrong. For example, one problem was that the door did not open to a 90 degree angle from the first day, so that the bottom rack could not be pulled out. He claimed that it was a problem with the dishwasher, not his installation. When it was suggested that maybe there would be some information in the manual about it, he claims he never reads the manuals. Uh oh!! It should be noted that we then paid a separate tradesperson to correct the problems with his installation -- they were entirely correctible. He had zero pride of craft, was expensive, and could use a course in customer service! Left the job undone and was downright unpleasant about it.
Terrible service -- go elsewhere!
