In 1990, Russ Roberson, who formerly operated R&R Plumbing, started his business in Visalia, California. In 2001, John McLaughlin launched his own venture, J&M Plumbing. In January 2004, they united their talents to establish Roberson-McLaughlin Plumbing, Inc., a California-based corporation.
John McLaughlin grew up in Visalia, California is dedicated to the commercial and industrial side of Roberson-McLaughlin Plumbing. As a child, he admired his father riding a Harley motorcycle with the name Plum Loco on it. John always thought that name was catchy. When it came time to create a slogan for our plumbing business, we adapted Plum Loco to Plumb Loco, which is now on our caps and t-shirts. Our clients enjoy them.

Everyone was easy to work with and awesome -- from Russ to Matt to Mark. Prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable.

I came home from working a 12 hour day and all I wanted was a long, hot shower. After turning on my shower for several minutes, there was no hot water. I figured perhaps the pilot light was out. I tried to re-light the pilot light without success. That's when I noticed water leaking under my water heater. I didn't know who to call. On top of that tomorrow was Good Friday and Easter weekend. I had guests arriving and NO hot water. I calked them and received a reply. Within 15 minutes I had an appointment scheduled for Friday morning! My technician arrived right on time. He assessed the problem and gave me a reasonable estimate. He replaced my water heater and after about 4 hours I was able to take a long, hot shower! Oh, and my guest were too. Thank you so much for your quick and wonderful service. I would recommend them and will definitely use them again.

Shout out to Mark! The best plumber ever!
These guys are great! Prompt, honest, respectful, & clean.

Came out immediately and fixed our issue. Friendly and helpful staff! Definitely keeping them on speed dial

The good: I had a tapping in my pipes in the bathroom. Called them up and they sent someone over the same day. The gentleman who showed up was super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.
The bad: The gentleman was at my house for less than 9 minutes (I went back to our security recording to check exactly how long he was here). I asked the gentleman if I owed him anything as he left and he said that he doesn't deal with any of that... fair enough. We left for a vacation to Alaska and had a bill for $113 dollars (after a $6 courtesy discount) when we returned for an hour of labor. I guess it's on me for not checking that I would be charged for an hour of labor regardless of how long the call was. It took me by surprise and I would have appreciated someone on the phone telling me I would be charged for an hour, regardless of the length of time the call took. Lesson learned.

We had Roberson/McLaughlin out to strap our water heater and to see if they could open up the tub for better drainage. The water heater was done perfectly. After working on the tub nothing short of re-plumbing it would make it drain better. When the drain handle was put back on it wasn't done correctly so with my first bath I find the handle will not stay up to drain - it has to be held. This should have been checked before the plumber left our home. When called to come fix the problem that they had created we were given another bill. When I questioned it I was pointed to the bottom of the billing which ultimately says they are not responsible for any problems caused by their work. Personally, as much as I like the plumber I will not do business with someone who will not stand behind the work they do.

First off, Russ Roberson was the first plumber to actually pick up his phone when I called. I sent him some photos of our leak. He immediately had a couple of possible ways to address our issue. He said he could send someone out within the hour. His team showed up on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, explain what they were planning to do. And fixed the leak perfectly. They were professional, efficient (even had all the parts needed for the job on their truck), friendly and a true pleasure to work with. WOW if only all businesses could be like Roberson McLaughlin Plumbing, having repairs done would be a joyful experience. I would use them again for sure.

My mother-in-laws hot water heater gave it up recently.
I called several plumbers to bid the project. Roberson & McLaughlin was the most responsive to my time frame and was very competitive price-wise.
This home is 60 years old and the water heater set up had to be retrofitted to meet current code. The installer did a professional job and left the area as clean as he found it. Also, he anchored the heater so that even a 8.9 earthquake won't shake this one loose.
Taking bids? Give Russ a call; you'll be happy you did.

Vincent came out and cleared a clogged kitchen drain pipe for us. He was professional and friendly and did a great job. Additionally, Vincent recommended an inexpensive fix to try to take care of the grease in our lines so that we wouldn't have to call them out to do a more expensive job. I really appreciated the advice and his integrity, and I definitely recommend their service.
