They solved the problem at hand for tenants I have, but they charged $400 for a simple job. On top of that they didn't return multiple phone calls or emails for over a month. For that price, things should have been handled much better.

Recommended by a friend. I had various jobs for a new (to me) condo. Charged me over $400 to clean out a pop up on a sink and put in a new flapper in toilet tank. I called to dispute charge and it is true I agreed to it as they were here doing work and I figured I'd deal with it later. It's on me I didn't cancel the job when the guy had a terrible case of the shakes--for whatever reason. Ice maker stopped working shortly after they worked on it but not about to try them again. Price gouging and sketchy service.

Chad came to the house within an hour of calling. We were originally told that we had to wait like 3 to 4 hours. He came in knew exactly what needed to be done advised us of every option. He got us in touch with Ozzie who came 15 minutes after Chad and got water restoration process begun. Ozzie got everything working quickly and efficiently and gave us advice on future things to look for. A few hours later Chad returned and we got in touch with my insurance company and that process started as well. These two gentlemen were knowledgeable and professional and took the time to help me out. I greatly appreciate it and would recommend them to anyone in need of their services.

I called Rob West to come look at a plumbing job. They took my credit card info and said that someone would be there at 8am on Monday. No one showed up. I called to see what happened. The receptionist said she would call me back. She never did. I hope they got rid of my credit card info, as they are not trustworthy! If anyone knows a good plumber in Chicago, please let me know!!!

We'd been struggling with a stopped bathtub drain for weeks and then our kitchen pipes started leaking, so we threw in the towel and found a plumber. Rob West was recommended on a FB post in my neighborhood group, so after seeing good Yelp reviews I called them up. They were able to come out the next day without problem, took care of everything while I was at work, and I came home to everything fixed and no sign that they'd even been there. I had a small issue with the bill, but when I called to discuss, Christina was very responsive and everything was quickly settled. It's a good business and we will use them again when the next plumbing challenge arises.

I called Rob West Plumbing this morning after my downstairs neighbor noticed water from my bathroom coming into her unit. Chad and Ozzie came by the same day, identified the problem and fixed it within the hour. They were really professional, explaining the issue, what the solution was and the process step by step. Plus they fixed the hot water faucet on my bathroom sink that was a problem since I moved in. I would definitely recommend them.

Rob West saved my home purchase!

We had ""dry closed"" on a home, and the lender wouldn't disburse until the gas was turned on. Gas company showed up to turn on, detected a small leak in the line, and turned off. Called Rob West based on others' reviews, spoke with Chris (who is awesome!), and she had someone out to the house within a half hour!

The technician changed out the line, pressure tested, and we we're able to have the gas turned on and close the deal. Rob West was totally reasonable with pricing, and didn't charge any sort of premium based on the exigency of the circumstance or the fact that it was towards the end of the workday.

I will definitely be calling Rob West in the future. Highly recommend!

If you want to be overcharged and yelled at, he's your guy. Happy that some folks had good experiences with these guys but mine was miserable.
