Waited to write this review to make sure the AC unit was working properly through the rest of this brutal summer/fall. One Saturday during our 100-degree summer (8/24/2024) I noticed the AC was not cooling. It would come on but was not very cold. I called the company that originally installed the unit, and they couldn't get out for about 2 weeks. I then remembered that my plumbing company recently opened the HVAC side of their business, so on a whim I called them up. They sent Robert M out that day to diagnose the problem. I was so appreciative! He was great! Very patient, informative and thorough. I appreciate his demeanor and the time he spent looking into the issue. I believe he was new to the company, and they made a smart choice with him. Great customer service. My evap coil needed replaced (and he noticed a troubling dent in my outside line). He investigated my warranty and found out the parts were covered as the unit is only 5 years old. We planned to touch base that Monday. Monday the company communicated that they were trying to find the replacement parts. Aliza and Cathy in the office were very helpful and I knew they were on top of it. I did call several times to get clarification on the quote, check the status and to schedule the appointment and I never felt like I was a bother. The office staff were friendly and professional. They were able to find the part and work out the contract with the dealer and get me on the schedule for the next day 8/27/2024. Robert M and Andrew T showed up with the part. They worked with my schedule, and they did a late day install for me. The HOTTEST part of the day. I know it was brutal up in that attic, but they were all smiles. They informed me of the steps they were doing, what they were checking, etc. I found them to be very knowledgeable, polite and efficient. Don't let Andrew's baby face fool you, he's been doing this a while and knows his stuff! They installed the new coil and fixed the dented line outside.
I have done several reviews (as they are my pluming company of choice as well), I will always say that I find their prices to be on the high side (maybe this is something they can work on) ...but I also realize that I am paying for their expertise, knowledge and the great customer experience. To me that makes up for some companies that will charge less but their service is terrible (no call/no show, can't get ahold of anyone, attitude, shoddy work, etc.). I hope they realize the customer focus and skillful service is what sets them apart. Please don't lose that (do they read these reviews!?)! I do refer / recommend Roadrunner Plumbing (and now air) to all my friends and colleagues.

Roadrunner Plumbing and Air came out to install a new AC system in out home. We called first thing in the morning and Andrew Torres showed up within the hour of our call. He assessed the situation, gave us 3 estimates, and brought us a portable AC unit to use. Andrew and his crew were here promptly the next morning and got started. They worked quietly and cleaned up their mess. The owner, Chris Copeland, took time to stop by to make sure we were happy with the work. The customer service is exceptional! We have also used Roadrunner for our plumbing needs.
Roadrunner Plumbing and Air is a very dependable and fair company.

Came a fixed the mistakes of another big HVAC company. Highly recommend them for both plumbing and HVAc, especially lalo

Service guy came out stated whole house water filter would cost $1100 to replace. Pressure valve regulator was mess up and would cost $900. My pressure was 90 but it was mid day saturday. Did more research and brought whole house water filter on amazon for $50 and paid hands man $100 to replace. Check pressure next day on sunday it was 80 in afternoon. True reading are best to take at night. Pressure can change depending on day and time. I check with bexar county saws and normal pressure is 80. Point this tech and Company tried to scam me. Do more research before you agree to service. I would list tech name but going to spare embrassment

This review is a long time coming. First, I've used Roadrunner's professional services for quite a while. Best team in San Antonio! Frank and Diego are like family to me. This past January when we were experienced freezing temps, I had an outside pipe burst, had to shut our water off. Called and requested Frank, was told he would be here first thing the following morning. Got a call from Frank that evening, he was on his way. Done with his appointments for the day, Frank decided to resolve my issue before going home. Thanking him big time, he told me that he didn't want my family to be without water until the following morning. Says a lot about Frank and the Roadrunner organization. RayK

Company came out on a service call due to a small crack on our side of the water meter. Here just under an hour. Charged $726.00. Shockingly high price. 30 day guarantee, which seems like a joke for the cost. We called around to several other plumbers, explaining what the issue was and sent pictures and videos of crack and the repair. We were told this is an extremely high price for what was done. Very disappointed. Would not recommend this company.

I called Roadrunner Plumbing because I had a leak in my shower faucet that was getting worse and worse. They said they could get someone out same day which was great. I scheduled my appointment for between 12-4. At 3:45 I called the company to make sure someone was still coming and at this point Tabitha told me the tech was running late and would be there a little after 5. The tech Frank arrived around 5:45. He looked the the faucet in my shower and said that the cartridge needed to be replaced, he quoted me just under $400 for the job. I told him that was too expensive and I was expecting to pay around $250 but he insisted that his price was a good price. They didn't charge me for the trip to come out thank goodness so I said thanks for their time and decided I was going to have ti fix it myself. Two trips to Ferguson plumbing supply and a YouTube video was all it took and the leak was fixed!! The best part....total cost to repair was $38 for the new Moen cartridge. As consumers we need to speak up when companies are trying to take advantage of us. I need to also say that everyone I spoke with at Roadrunner was very polite and I'm not sure if this is the industry standard price for this type of repair. I just want to share my experience and say please do better Roadrunner Plumbing.

Roadrunner Plumbing is professional and punctual! I didn't have to worry about when they would arrive because they send you a text with a link to watch their ETA. Once at my home, I felt comfortable and confident having them there to look at my situation. They made sure I was included when doing the work so I could see with my own eyes the problems. Then I was given informed options to make the best decision on what to do next. Frank and Diego were friendly and informative. I'll definitely have them back again!

I first called them because I had water stains on my ceiling, I needed a faucet in one of my vanities installed and a shower kit installed in another bathrooms. I waited for them to arrive...turned out they were at the wrong address. I called and regave my address to them. They arrived and gave me a quote. They quoted me a price of $480 to replace the vanity faucet! I personally replaced the twin to this vanity in around 45 minutes and I'm a eighty two year old man. So I'm not paying $480 to someone for a 30 minute replacement. I told them to go ahead and punch a hole in my ceiling to look for possible leak. It took them around 15 minutes to do that and they charged me $172. I then went and bought the new kit for the upstair shower for them to install. I specifically told them it was the guest shower with the light on. come back upstair and they had dismantled the wrong shower head. As they started to fix that, the plumber tells me the quote they gave me for the other shower was for the shower head only. I stopped there and told them to forget the other shower and just charge me for that hole you punched in my ceiling. Never again will I use this company and shame on them for taking advantage of an 82 year old man.

So thankful for the quality and character of this company! They responded to our call quickly and repaired our water heater the same day. The technician was professional and knowledgeable. Their customer service is top notch and their prices are reasonable and affordable. We highly recommend this company for any and all your plumbing needs.
