Ray is fantastic!! My old water softener died and needed to be replaced. Ray was quick to respond and accommodate my schedule. When he arrived, we learned that the water softener that had been delivered had a crack in the cover. No problem for Ray...he took it back to Home Depot to exchange for another one. Then he found the correct installation solution (the original had not been installed correctly), did some re-plumbing, and I was up and running that day. In addition to being an amazing plumber, Ray is also a really great guy. I highly, highly recommend RMB Plumbing.

Very quick to respond and will work with you to figure out the best solution to your problem. With me, it was figuring out the parts needed for a new water softener installation. He is also very personable and outgoing.
The installation itself is solid and he made sure to explain the different pieces and things I should know whether that is maintenance or proper disposal procedures of the old softener.

Ray was extremely responsive. He came by to do a job that required cutting to into drywall to replace a part. He arrived with another person who he appeared to be teaching. Update from previous review: I am grateful to Mr. Brown, and this update is because of Mr. Brown's prompt - I'd say immediate - response, re-work and dilligence. Mr. Brown came over the same day I contacted him (11-17-20), per my general contractor's and inspector's instructions, and worked close to 8 pm with my contractor to work on what the SJ City Inspector instructed us to do. I understand he worked well with Mr. Kim, and put forth a lot of effort. He had given me a 1 year warranty of work when RMB installed my new water heater tank back in July 2020. I was required by SJ City to pull a permit for my water heater tank replacement. I did not know that before, but since I obtained the permit, I had an inspection 11-17-20 with the Permits Dept. Inspector Supervisor. My contractor's rep, GM, Mr. Kim was present also. The inspector gave us instructions about what needs to be redone/fixed etc. related to the water heater tank. I texted a ""thank you"" to Mr. Brown, and I wish him/his company/his crew well. With this review, I would definitely recommend Mr. Brown/RMB Plumbing. I believe now that he would go the extra mile for you/his clients. Thank you Mr. Brown.

Ray Brown and crew have done many jobs at our home. We love his responsiveness and quality of the work. He and his team tackled some very tough jobs under the house including a cracked ""Y"" connection and leaking sink drain that required a new clean out.
His team also fixed an incorrectly routed water main that required cutting galvanized old pipe.
Today RMB Plumbing came out within one day of our call to snake out a clogged washing machine / softener drain.
Next week RMB will use a jet technique to clean all of our home's drains.
Following that, we plan to select RMB Plumbing with remodeling two bathrooms.
And most of all, Ray puts up with my constant kidding. :)

This company cares! i have used this company several times. Once you find a reputable company, you stick with them! This week I contacted RMB Plumbling to come in and install new faucets in our daughters double sink. I received immediate support to have the faucet installed! Owner and operator Ray was kind and so professional. Years ago he came to our home to replace the guest bath toilet, he did such a great job, we asked him to replace the master bath toilet too. He was very knowledgeable and honest. At some point, we scheduled him to return and replace our kitchen sink as well. He also checked our pipes that run from the washer and dryer. It's hard to find good professional companies. I've had my water heater over 20 years and have RMB Plumbing on stand by when it needs to be replaced! I know we will be in good hands! I have recommended this company whenever anyone asks for a plumber. You will be in good hands!

I asked Ray to come by to give me a quote for running a line to the far side of my house and put in a hose bib for watering plants in that area. He came with his worker who crawled under my house to determine the extent of the job. Together they evaluated the job and what materials they would need. Ray gave me a very reasonable price and we set a date when they would do the work. They came the morning of the job and went right to work. Several hours later they had completed the job and packed up their tools to head off to the next job. Ray and Jose even installed insulation over the main lines under the house to deaden the noise while they were under there.
All in all, it was an A+++ job!
We couldn't be happier. Ray and Jose answered any questions I had from start to finish. Ray is honest, hard working, and I wouldn't hesitate to call him for the next plumbing job I have.
