Rge RLC company is an amazing company owned by Ricky Coates. His entire company go above and beyond. I would recommend RLC over any one!
Austin C.Beware of this company that will rip you off.
If you want the absolute bare minimum job done, without a shred of a reasonable good faith, this is the company for you.
I do not recommend you use this company that will fleece you for an inch (literally).
We used this company for moving our RV 3 miles, and paid the full amount someone would pay to take this a lot longer distance. The driver did the very minimum and took our RV from point A to point B without issue. The issue arose when he let us know it would be $150 extra to back the RV onto 2 leveling blocks. He did not let us know ahead of time that it would cost us $300 to drive 3 miles and then roll forward 1-2 inches onto these leveling blocks, so we were taken aback.
The driver had also taken our blocks home which we needed to level our RV (accidentally), but was unable to return them the next day. He was unwilling to make a fair decision to roll our RV forward 1-2 inches onto these blocks, so he deferred to the ""boss man"" as he called it. I had called the office to see if they would be reasonable and they returned my call and let me know that they would be able to cut me a deal to have the driver roll the RV forward 1-2 inches for only $100. I let them know that was how outrageous that was due to how much I had already paid and how little they had to do the previous day. I denied their ridiculous offer and asked the driver simply return the blocks instead.
It is not a good idea to hire this company if your goal if you would like to avoid getting ripped off by them.
Jonathan R.We were traveling near Asheville and our truck broke down pulling our camper. The RV park listed their telephone number for this company as an after-hours contact. We called and the gentlemen offered that if a wrecker could get us to the RV park, he would help us from the front parking lot to our site. The was very friendly and helped us out. The next morning we get a call from their office stating that we owe $250 by the end of the day for the ""towing service"" they performed; pulling us less than 200 yard! The owner even called that afternoon and threatened to come to the RV and collect if we did not pay up by the end of the day and refused to provide an invoice or any type of documentation that we could give to our insurance company. Another review stated they have ""shady"" business practices...I say it is an understatement. They will obviously take advantage of you if you are from out of town and in a bind. After RVing for years, I have never encountered such a ""service"" or company. BEWARE and STAY AWAY!
Was great - I've used RLC Service Group before to install exterior doors and storm doors, repair damage to my porch and they did a great job. Didn't know until recently that they did heating & AC maintenance so hired them for that. Josh came and was prompt, professional and pleasant - and very knowledgeable. I bought the yearly maintenance agreement and am confident that my equipment is ready for the winter and next spring.
Cori D.I was staying in West Asheville at my brother's house with my 5 month old baby in tow. It was an extremely hot week, and being from cold San Francisco it was feeling like a true scorcher. I'd keep turning the AC down all night long and still feel uncomfortable (and my mommy need to have the room between 65 and 70 while my baby sleeps was in overdrive - I'm ridiculous, I know). Finally my brother, seeing that I'd turned the air down to about -30 one night, realized that something was up. He called Doug, and sensing the urgency in his voice Doug made his way over right away to fix the situation. He was great! He got the job done quickly and efficiently and at a very fair price.
Also, hearing my nephew and his friend talking about trying to pitch a sinker, Doug revealed that he'd played professional baseball. Not only did we get our AC fixed, but the boys were entertained too, and that's priceless on a long summer day.
I highly recommend this HVAC service for air conditioning repair and heating repair.
Megan M.This company is well worth every penny! As a business owner, it is always appreciated when another company works as hard as you do to serve your customers. There was a situation in which we needed their help the same day to resolve an issue. They were responsive, respectful and treated the customer well. To top it all off, they made sure the job was done well the first time. I would refer them anytime!
Beau W.Could not ask for better follow through out of a company. I have had multiple projects done at my house by RLC and it is always top notch. Estimates are quick, sometimes same day. Ricky will make sure you are happy every step of the way. Even if the price is higher than some it is worth it because of the awesome customer service and the quality at which the work is done.
I contacted RLC for an estimate. Their estimator John arrived on time and was very professional. He promised an estimate in a couple of days to a week. I texted him after a week and he promised something by the following Monday. I gave him an extra week after that. I tried to call him but found that his number was disconnected and that he no longer worked for the company. After contacting the main office number, I was promised an estimate in a day or two. Nothing. I called them again and they they have not returned my call. If I cannot even get an estimate from a business, then that is a company I am probably better off not using.
I would definitely recommend RLC Service Group! My husband called them about some electrical needs. They were extremely prompt, courteous, and professional....most of all caring! With the excellent service we've received with our electrical needs, we will be contacting their services for all of our home needs. You guys are awesome and a blessing!
Jeff D.Our renters' thermostat went out in January, about a half hour before the start of the Super Bowl and with a sick kid. RLC Electric had someone out to our house about an hour after they called. They identified the problem in minutes, which was a switch that had accidentally gotten flipped. Their employee was courteous and professional. They really went above and beyond the call of duty. Highly recommended.
