I needed a utility sink installed in my garage. Rich responded quickly and the result is adequate: sink is installed and working.

However, I am so unsatisfied with the interaction that I feel I should feedback to the community. I want to warn people that he might try to work you up for more than you thought you'd be paying. In my case, we agreed on $750 to do the job but while he was in the middle of the job he said he needed more materials so it would be $850 if i agreed. I was disappointed but said ""fine"" since he was already there and I am a busy person who is also very non-confrontational. At the end he asked for $900 for still additional materials.

I also noticed after he left that he must have used my material from my house without asking -- he unloaded almost an entire tube of my window caulk to patch the hole in the wall where the water lines now run :(

We just moved into a new home in Chatsworth and was looking for a jack of all trades to assist us with a laundry list of upgrades and repairs. After scouring Yelp for options, I came across Rich and he came right out to meet us/quote us on some of the repairs.

I cannot recommend him enough. He is fast, efficient, and goes the extra mile to make sure things are fixed/installed professionally and neatly. For example, I needed a shelf installed over our refrigerator. Without asking, he added extra bracing to the shelf to secure it better and even went as far as staining the bracing to match the surrounding cabinetry. We also had some electrical re-routing to do. He fixed that right up and went as far as neatening up the switch plates with new, clean covers. We don't have to ask him to go the extra mile, he just does it - it's such a huge relief after dealing with others who are late, unprofessional, and do shoddy jobs.

You call him, he's there. His services are such a wonderful addition to our new home - we couldn't have moved in and got settled without him.

I just used R&K to install a light fixture and they couldn't have been better. Rich was accommodating to my schedule and showed up exactly when he said he would be there. He even replaced a missing nut. The cost was exactly what he quoted. Ignore the need for paint in my picture, that's totally on me. I would definitely use him again.
