Alex F.RJP is great, quick to respond, show up on time, and fix the problem for a fair price!
Stacy A.I have used this company a few times. They are responsive, professional and efficient. Highly recommend!
We called them over the weekend for a leak in our house over the weekend got an immediate response came over the tech was very knowledgeable and accommodating
The price was more than fair for emergency service these guys will be our plumbers for life
Called last night for emergency leak. Then called again. No answer. Installed my dishwasher on behalf of Oberg/Lindberg - apparently did bad job - three months later dishwasher leaked on three occasions.
They did one job for me decently but last nigh not calling me back during an emergency is bad business.
Terri I.I have used RJP for over 8 years and always had great service, response time and they are all super nice. Lately, I have called and left messages for some work I need done and I cannot get a return phone call. I have been trying for over two months to get someone to return a phone call and no one ever does. I don't know what is going on or what has happened but I will have to go to another company. Rich, if you see this, a return call would have been nice. If you don't want to do the work, let me know that. I have referred quite a few people to RJP and they are experiencing the same lack of return calls. It's unfortunate that this review may be the only way to reach RJP.
I have been a customer for over 7 years and recently have received the worst customer service and repair service from RJP that I have ever received from any contractor. They installed a new gas hot water heater. After installation there was a slight gas leak and my hot water return line to keep water circulating for quick hot water no longer worked. They returned and tightened some gas lines but were unable to get the return line to work. Subsequently, the gas control unit on the water heater failed and was replaced under warranty. Later, I still smelled gas and called to request they fix it and address the return line problem. They came and again re-tightened some gas lines but provided no proposal to fix the return line. Later, my family could still smell gas upstairs. I called and spoke directly with Rich the owner requesting that they fix the gas leak and provide a proposal for the return line. He never got back in touch with me despite me making several follow up calls. I finally called PSEG (the gas company) about the gas leak and they sent someone out within 15 minutes. They discovered two gas lines from the bottom of the water heater control unit were very loose and were the source of the gas leak. They tightened them - problem finally solved. I called RJP and reported to their answering service what was found. There was no acknowledgment or apology from RJP or message on my answering machine. I will never use RJP again. When a business has such a don't care attitude and this poor a level of service, it needs to become public information to protect other consumers.
We could not open the sprinkler system because the pipe form the basement was cracked over the winter. Steve, from RJP Plumbing came, he was absolutely excellent!!! He called before he showed up letting me know he is ahead of the schedule so came little earlier, which was great. He determined what was wrong with the pipe, where exactly, and fixed it within an hour. Very pleasant, friendly, nice and knowledgeable. Plumbing can be very expensive, but I would say RJP was reasonable. I would highly recommend and definitely use them again if I need to.
