Extremely dissatisfied. The plumber removed my clog by removing the toilet but when he put the toilet back on he put it too close against the wall and now when we sit or get up the back rubs against the wall. Not worth the money

I live in a really old building with beautiful old plumbing fixtures. R.J. Collins Plumbing came out today to fix a two sinks, toilet, and snake a tub. James the plumber who was sent was the best plumber we have had come to our unit and we have lived here for almost 10 years. He was able to fix everything perfectly. We had a drip in a sink for 3 years and have had two plumbers prior look at....he fixed it. What a great plumber and company totally recommend.

I've had four run ins with this plumbing co. First they tell us we don't need a new water heater, then the boss comes out and said yes we need a new one. So the tech comes back to install and leaves a mess water all over the hall carpet and bathroom floor with out telling me or cleaning it up!! I then notice the hot water is slow so they come back and tell us we need to re pipe the entire building, (we live in an apt) in order to fix the problem. All he did was turn on the faucet to see it's slow. And today I wake to a cold shower. When they send out a repair man (the same messy man) he tells me that the water heater needs better ventilation it's been in the same location since the building was built!! Never a problem before. He's Just looking for excuses he installed the new water heater at a different angle then it was maybe that's why the ventilation is poor!! I'm not a plumber and I can figure that out!!

My mother is moving and the buyer wanted a water pressure regulator and a gas seismic shutoff valve. I talked to quite a few local plumbers and only a few made it out to give an estimate. Rob came out and asked all the appropriate questions. In the end, he made the best impression and gave the best quote. He was notably also the fastest business to respond to my inquiry.

Today, one of his employees came out to perform the work. He was equally personable and an excellent communicator. He explained when the water and gas would be interrupted and estimated the duration. He was very clean and performed the work quickly and efficiently. Everything looks great and works great! Mom wishes we had found him earlier when she had needed some plumbing work done. I highly reccomend Rob Collins Plumbing.

James from RJ Collins Plumbing not only did my job perfectly the first time, but he also showed up exactly when promised, was friendly and professional, and made friends with my barkaholic dog. RJ Plumbing has an organized and friendly scheduler as well. They are more than fairly priced and they do not take advantage. I am so thankful to have found them after paying at least double the price for a local competitor with the initials MD. I will stick with RJ Collins Plumbing. James is an asset to the company.

I don't think I would use these folks again, although they did fix the problem and my son now has hot water in his shower. When I was quoted the hourly rate of $98, I wasn't told there is also a one way travel charge (which amounted to a half an hour). The plumber told me this on his way out the door. He fixed the problem in 57 minutes by replacing a Kohler valve. They weren't able to tell me how much they would charge for the valve. Although the valve retails for $90, they charged $106. The invoice was mailed about a week later, but had no breakdown for labor or materials or travel, and actually stated ""Price per Estimate"", which I never was given. I guess when you have all the water shut off in the house, the valve pulled out of the wall, and a plumber unable to tell you how much it'll be, you just have to do it?

Don't use this company. Save yourself from spending your money, your time and effort. Had a very bad experience with them. Save yourself from the stress they will cause you. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They do not deserve any star at all.

I am in an apartment building, so my experience begins with the management company booking the plumber. My experience with RJ Collins has been great. The plumbers arrive when expected and have been able make repairs easily. They are clean and courteous. It is a relief to have competent, friendly help.
