Do not use this plumber!! They recently arrived at our house for a job we did NOT confirm them to do. We had an apt with a different plumber but since my husband made the apt and didnt tell me the company's name, I let RJ Carter Plumbing into my home thinking they were the ones we had an apt with. After the Latow Plumbing tech arrived for the apt (and Carter Plumbing tech laughed at him saying """"haha I already started work tell your boss to not get his panties in a bunch"""") I realized the mistake. Since he had already started work I called my husband and let him talk to the Carter plumber. Mark, the plumber told my husband over the phone exactly how much it would cost (never mentioning that was only the base price). The plumber left with no written contract, no signature authorizing the amount to be charged and also no clue how to pay the company. He just said bye and drove off, leaving the pipe exposed in the backyard. I called the office the next morning and Marty Carter, the Office Manager, said she was surprised he had done the work bc she had tried to call to confirm but we had never responded so she didnt schedule the work order. The owner took a phone call inquiry note off her desk and placed the work order. She emailed me an invoice later that day for a much higher bill than what was promised over the phone!! Then instead of working with me on the price she got offended we said her company was unprofessional and proceeded to tell me if I didnt pay it within 30days they would put a lien on my property! Since plumber had found the pipe outside, dug the hole, and snaked the line we decided to pay the high priced bill since we didnt want any further issues with this horrible company and was going to find someone else to install the clean out. But now one week later the pipe is backed up again! There is sewage water and toilet paper filling the trench in my backyard. I called her and explained this and she immediately cut me off and said, """" we did our job now you have to find another plumber."""" No you didnt snake the line far enough. Just because we need to install a clean out doesnt mean the line would back up again if the clog had been properly removed! We kept the hole covered (which Mark didnt do before he left). We did everything right and yet we are still left with a clogged pipe and a couple hundred dollars down the drain. Absolutely unacceptable!

I was attempting to change a shower head on a very old shower arm. The shower arm snapped and I thought for sure a plumber would have to rip into the wall to fix this. I called 3 plumbers at 8am and out of the 3, RJ Carter was the only one that had a live person instead of voicemail. They were able to send someone out in just a few hours. He even called me to let me know his status on his previous job and his ETA. He also took the time to fix the break without having to dig into the wall. This took considerable time and effort on his part, but it saved me from having to spend much more on repairs. He was very professional and the rate charged was very fair. I will only call upon RJ Carter plumbing should I need a plumber again!
