Had a flooded basement due to a pipe issue and ""American Mike"" was great. Very friendly, professional, and thoughtful. He came the same day I called, during a day when I know the company was swamped due to the Nor'easter we just had. The receptionist at the office kept me updated on timing since they were balancing a lot of appointments. She was also very courteous and helpful. Love Rizzo's!

This is the best plumber I've ever had. It was my first time using them and I needed two toilets overhauled. They are great about answering the phone and scheduling. Irish Mike was fast, effective, and knows his l stuff. And he cleans up everything very well. Both toilets are perfect and I got lots of good advice like how to fix a leak in my tub. I can't be more happy than this. These guys are really good. I want to thank them for such great work and service that you don't always get these days. THANKS!

Called at 11 PM because a pipe had burst in my house and left a message --- not an overnight level emergency, since I was able to cut off water to that part of the house, but still something I needed a quick turnaround on. They called back while I was out driving in the morning and I wasn't able to call back until 10 AM the next morning, but they still got me in same-day with quick, friendly, competent service that I felt was _very_ reasonably priced given the turnaround. They've helped me out once before, too, and they were great, but this time was notable enough to come leave a review.

I'm surprised at the good reviews here, considering my lousy experience with them. I once called Rizzo Plumbing as I had leak from an upstairs bathroom dripping into a room on the first floor of my house. I called several times & left messages with Judy but would never hear back from anyone. When I finally got through to John, he came off like a major wise-guy who couldn't be bothered. As I explained the problem to him, he was very condescending & argumentative & when I explained to him that water was randomly dripping out of the ceiling when the bathroom hadn't been used for several hours, John aggressively quipped ""Now, THAT doesn't make any sense, does it?? WHY would it be dripping if the bathroom isn't in use??"" (with a ""What-are-you-talking-about"" tone of voice). He's the so-called professional, No? When I told him that I didn't know, that's why I'm calling him & that I wanted to schedule a call to have someone to look at it, John hastily rattled off some hourly service rates, said he'd get back to me & hung up. Throughout the entire conversation, it was apparent that John was ""profiling"" & cherry-picking who he wanted to do business with & he came off like he was doing me a favour. Don't bother with this bad-attitude company - There are plenty of others out there who'll do business with you in a respectful manner.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Rizzo Plumbing - these guys are THE BEST!
I got 2 free new water-efficient toilets from Aquarion via their conservation program & they used Rizzo to do the install. Judy (Office Manager) very kindly switched around my install dates to accommodate my visitors/guests-GREAT first impression. The gentlemen installing the toilets were fast, efficient & left the place spotless. They couldn't have been nicer or done a better job. I'm thrilled with my better-looking, more efficient bathroom & will use Rizzo in the future. Thanks Rizzo!

These guys are great. I had a small job, changing out a gas dyer supply line so the stackable unit could be pulled out for service (the dryer vent was clogged, crushed, and too long so the dryer no longer dried). They came within two days all the way to Scituate, when gas contractors in town didn't even return my call. Mike and Joe were very friendly and efficient, and although I'd only asked for the gas line to be replaced, Mike cleaned out the vent, shortened it, reattached it and repositioned the unit so we could use it. They're returning with a replacement drain pan (broken from another contractor's attempt to get at the vent), a proper aluminum vent and a taller ladder to clean out the third floor exterior vent screen. The price I paid for the first visit and what was quoted for the second were very reasonable. Highly recommend for their excellent service.

My Superstor water heater started to act up until we had only lukewarm or cold water in the am. I got the run around by multiple vendors to get service for a few days then was pointed to Rizzo Plumbing, who not only came out the same day, and fixed my Superstor but their purge of the air in our system got our kitchen kick heater going as well.
