I had not used Rivers plumbing prior and was recommended by my brother who had 3 water heaters replaced by Rivers plumbing and who highly recommended them to me.
In addition to needing a new water heater, I had concerns for safety and COVID-19 for my family and the workers who entered my home.
I contacted Rivers plumbing and spoke to Paul (the owner). He was extremely pleasant and answered all of my questions relating to the service, cost, installation timing, and in addition to the safety precautions that would be taken by his staff.
As this was an urgent necessity, Paul was able to arrange installation the next day.
I was contacted by Paul when his staff (Bruno and Joe) were on their way. Both men were friendly, respectful and had masks on and amenable to covering their shoes with booties (I had purchased).
They performed their work efficiently and effectively and cleaned up when they were done. I would not hesitate to recommend Rivers Plumbing for their competitive pricing, friendly customer service and quality of work.

I requested a quote via yelp and received a message to call Paul for a phone consultation. When I called, he picked up and said he wasn't interested and hung up. If you want inconsiderate and rude people doing your job, then this is the company for you. What a waste of time. JUST SAY YOU'RE NOT INTERESTED IN THE JOB IN YOUR ORIGINAL MESSAGE INSTEAD OF ASKING FOR A PHONE CONSULTATION.

Get a written estimate first or they'll rob you. Tried charging me $1200 for less than 2 hours of work replacing a shower faucet. I complained and he lowered it to $900, but that is still ridiculous for 90 minutes of labor considering the part was $120. Afterwards, I reached out to some other plumbers in the area and it should've cost me half this. The work itself was fine, but not for almost $400/hr. Totally unethical business practice.
