One of my outside faucets cracked open in the wall so I called for your services.
The next day Josh Gerber showed up to determine what was needed to repair the pipe.
Then today, one of your plumbers showed up who was very nice and knew what was needed.
He went right to work and did the repair with no problem. He kept everything nice and clean and did an excellent job.

Thank you for your service

My wife and I have been satisfied customers of Mike Bass and his company RCP going on 7 years. The attention to quality workmanship has always been part of what they do and how they perform. Estimates are accurate because plumbing repairs can be pricy. RCP has installed/maintained continuous water heating systems, replaced entire drainage piping, installed new fixtures, and provided quick, emergent service when leaks occurred. The company offers an annual 'membership' which gives a customer faster service both for routine, but also emergent, services. We have been very happy with all of the staff at RCP, whether on site, in the office, scheduling, etc. They have always been respectful, there is attention to detail like arriving at the expected time, showing the repairs once done, answering questions along the way, and always cleaning the work site once done. Basically, we can recommend these guys without reservation.

Mike replaced an out door hydrant for me and it works exactly as it should without issues. additionally as a former contractor I was impressed that he showed up when he said he would, and charged me a fair and reasonable amount,. I can without any reservation recommend him, and hopefully will not have any more plumbing issues, but if i do he will be my 1st call. in conclusion; COMPETENT FAIR, REASONABLE.

I had a leak under the concrete slab of my house and was told I needed a whole new system put in. Mike showed up the same day and was very nice and seemed very professional. Since I had no running water I signed on to have his crew do the job. The job was $35,000 and I ended up having to refinance my house.

Johnny was the first one to come in and he did an amazing job! He takes pride in his work and left things very clean when he was done.

I can't say that about the rest of the crew. I was left with paint on the floor of my bathroom, I had to repaint a cupboard door because there was paint all over the side, I had to caulk all around the shower and bathtub because they only did one side of it. The laundry room has paint all over the floor and the ceiling looks unfinished.

Here's the best part though. For the last 13 years my sprinkler system worked fine. But after they dug by the box I'm sure some wires got hit and they rewired them wrong because now my system doesn't work right and there's a ton of water coming from the outside pipe when the system gets turned on. They came out once to fix it, but instead just turned off the backyards water supply. When I reached out about this Mike said they didn't do this and if I want it fixed he'll charge me. Like I would pay another dime to this company!

So if you're feeling lucky give these guys a call.

Service was good. The price was $536 for a job that took well less than an hour. Online the average price for this service is between $60 and $150.

This is called price gouging. when I talked to the company representative she said she couldn't do anything.

Not acceptable.

River City Plumbing seemed like a great business several years ago when I first starting using them. However, I ended up having a lot of what they did redone because their work was so poor. Also, their billing got increasingly unfair. For example, they said they had nothing else going on and could send a guy the same day. They then billed $1400 for an emergency call. As another example, they tried to bill me for far more hours than their guys were actually at my place and working. Don't use this company!

I had a leak under my sink. I called a few other places but they were weeks out. These guys sent me a plumber THE SAME DAY! It only took 5 minutes to fix!

Now, they quoted me a free estimate on the phone. But I take responsibility for not confirming that with the plumber when he arrived at my house. I should've said, ""hey, this is for a free quote, right?"" But I didn't. And then the guy fixed the problem. So I didn't mind paying the $200 fee. It was fast and professional and worth it!

I had a leak under my kitchen sink. I decided to call a plumber as I'm a FOP and probably not be able to get up from the floor even if I did fix it.
My first call was to a firm that explained they were several weeks out. They had very high prices; big $ to come out & more to fix it.
My second call was to River City Plumbing that said they could have a guy, AT NO CHARGE, come out tomorrow & give me a quote to fix it. He would not fix it them but, if I agreed to the price, would set an appointment to fix it. I ask several times about the NO CHARGE QUOTE. No problem. Sounded good.
He arrived on time and it 5 minutes fixed it. A dirty house or something. He than told me the charge was $205. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE NO CHARGE QUOTE? He explained they were a union shop & charged more than other shops. WHY DIDN'T THE GIRL ON THE PHONE TELL ME THAT?
I ask him about replacing a water heater as I had to do that in my last house. The price was almost twice what I paid.

I'm on a fixed income & feel that I got ripped off!!! BEWARE OF River City Plumbing!!!

They didn't pull permits for our commercial alteration they performed (major plumbing, concrete dug up, etc...) when we initially told them during their bid that all that matters is getting permitted through the health department for our food facility. They assured us that would be no problem and they were the guys for our project!

They gave us a quote, we paid half for deposit and they started tearing up our concrete. 2nd day on the job, they come and try to tell us we owe them $3800 more or else they're going to pull their guys off our job. That was just the first issue. We pushed back and their workers actually threatened to quit working for them and come back on their own time to help us. They dropped it and said they'd finish the job for the initial price promised. Project took 1.5 weeks longer than told (was told the job would take 2-3 days and it took 2 weeks). Once it was done, they left a bunch of cleanup we took care of even though cleanup and repainting was included in the price and bid we received (contract). Okay, just glad to be done with it. Fast forward... 2 weeks after their job was completed... found out they never pulled ANY permits whatsoever for our job. We now have a $6k plumbing job we cannot even use. They are also not licensed to do half the stuff they did in our commercial unit.

They have now ghosted us and have not responded to any of our messages since August 15th 2022. We've called the main office multiple times and left messages with Patty. Douglas has been avoiding our calls (this is the man who was said to be working on the permit). He finally drew up some ""plans"" that were like a child drew them (definitely not acceptable for the permitting desk with the City of Sparks). Josh hasn't been any help either. This business has now cost us thousands and thousands in just down time with our business. We've had to hire a general contractor to get this job permitted and finished correctly, which has cost us thousands more.

This is our personal experience with this plumbing company and everything that has been said is true and factual. They have tried to lie and say they didn't do work for us on a google review.
