appointment 8-10 am scheduled over a week ago.
I called at 10 and they tell me they will be onsite at 12.
I called just after 1 and they state it will be later in the afternoon sometime and they must have been put on a emergency.
Well how about you call and let the person know that has the appointment. only time will tell if they show up today at all!

We had a blockage in our septic system. I called two other companies, (the ""speedy"" kind), who literally had no clue, going as far as to misidentify a normal piece of the system as a collapsed drain.
River City came out today, our septic tech was Eric and the drain tech was Mike. Within a couple of minutes of looking they'd figured out the problem and in under an hour cleared the problem. They saved us thousands in excavation charges if we'd have gone with the other guys, the system is now running perfectly.
After today, I wont call anyone else. These guys get it done.

River city environmental is the real deal. In a semi-emergency situation, he was at my place in a couple of hours, rapidly took care of the acute issues at hand, and replaced my old back up battery and dead pump. He even threw in a free high water level detector for free.

Despite their low rating, I received top-notch service and communication, project done when they said it would be and on budget. I know I should've looked at the reviews before hiring them but I'm thankful I went with these guys. Great job of restoring my distribution box / lines.

Happy to say that this situation was finally resolved in a respectful, courteous manner and in a way that makes me feel 100% good about continuing to do business with River City. My last service went smoothly and everyone that I have interacted with since then has been nothing short of genuinely respectful and professional.

There billing is terrible. We have requested proof of service and they have refused and threatened collections. In the end we just paid $30k in bills to avoid legal issues even though we had emails showing we required proof of service immediately following service completion. Beware!

Called for service, very friendly office staff.I was given a date and time sooner than I expected. When they got to me the worker got the job done and no mess for me to clean up after.
Prices are fair(I've called around)
I am hoping not to need them again, but will call for sure if I ever do!

Please do not give them your credit card! They ran mine twice for over $5,000. When I called them to explain they didn't care to stop transaction. It was still processing. They could only help me after in dispute. Worst customer service! It's a bummer because the guys that do the manual labor are great.

My first contact was with a young lady who didn't know much at all about what her employer does, she had to repeatedly put me on hold to get me answers. 1st sign of poor training.
There terminology is ""hourly rate"" when they should say 'minimum hourly rate' or charge. This was where I thought if they finished under an hour the rate would be less. Not the case.
The tech was on site and in 10 minutes he new I had a collapsed drain and couldn't do anything else, he was on my property for 30 minutes. RCE is charging me $341.46 for 10 minutes of work total 30 minutes on site. Enrique who I talked to about this wont budge, totally inflexible and he supports their rip off policy of minimum charge regardless. I totally regret using this POS rip off company with their screw the customer over policy.
I realize fuel expense and driver rate and drive time, but man, wouldn't even reduce the charge $1oo. I wish I had read these poor reviews first before being ripped off by RCE.
I have been charged for this poor service, 2 weeks later and I have still not received a receipt for this 10 minutes of work. Poor service from start to finish.

Had them look at septic. Promp, pleasant fellow. Ricardo. Most septic uncovered. He dug 10 minutes found lid. Was very low. No need to pump. He said to fill with water and watch. Was there an hour. said would charge service call. Bill comes, 2.5 hours digging charged. $245. Have called company twice and e-mailed once. No resolution. Strange customer service. Rude, unhelpful. Must be unpleasant place to work. Steve. R.
