Called Ritz plumbing,heating,
Talked to Jennifer.
She gave me an appointment time of 10 to 12 tomorrow.
10:30 the next day I call to confirm my appointment.
12:30 nobody here. No call. Nothing.
I call the office and once again talk to Jennifer who tells me that the technician tried to call me several times.
WHAT??
O was home all day .
She repeated the wrong number back to me. Funny when I made the appointment she repeated it back correctly.
I told her that this is bad business as they wasted my morning and to CANCEL!
The tech calls me At 1:15 to say he was on his way. No apology, no excuse, no show!
Was the dude watching the World Cup and left me hanging?
I wouldn't recommend these people to do anything.

I cannot begin to express how amazed I am by this company and their team. Our plumbing issues started Friday and long story short, we needed urgent plumbing again on Monday. Called around several places and at 6:45 PM these guys answered and said someone would come by our home this evening!

With both bathrooms stopped up, I was beyond relieved. Ronaldo and José showed up and we're awesome. They were detailed and explained everything to us. Gave us options and were very knowledgeable. They spent a long time at our home and were able to clear the issue although we still have more work to do. They guided us carefully and answered all of our questions with detail and patience. Before they left they saw something else not working and fixed it. These men were at our home until close to 10:30 and more.

Exceptional service. If you need someone asap or want solid plumbing help call them and be sure to ask for Reynaldo & Jose. Thank you guys!!!

Man!!!!! These guys are awesome! Gilbert and Albino came out on Sunday evening in the pouring rain and GOT IT DONE! We had a leaking copper pipe (pinhole) under the house, ughhhh! They went under, cut out the hole and fixed us up!!! Can't say enough...... nice, professional and FAIR!! I'd call them again in a heartbeat! Thank you!!!!!

We called Ritz Plumbing in the afternoon to reattach our kitchen sink after the counter surface was upgraded. They came 3 hours later with 3 guys (Jesus, Albino and Victor) and they were able to efficiently reconnect the sink and pipes for a reasonable price. All 3 were very professional and polite. I will call them again next time I have a plumbing issue.

Our water heater sprung a leak late in the afternoon, I tried calling multiple plumbers but they were closed for the day. Luckily, Ritz provides 24 hour service or at least late night service and were able to provide us quick and efficient service at the last minute. Abel and John were quick to identify the problem and fix the leak in less time than it took me to write this review! John even identified potential future problems with our water system and Abel recommended us to upgrade to a home filtration system to prevent further sediment build up and corrosion; something we will seriously consider after this mishap.

BEWARE! Don't even think of using this company! They are crooks and they make up reasons to replace your plumbing systems. I called Lucas Plumbing (I used them for years and trusted them) but was connected to Ritz Plumbing without informing me. Of course, the first clue should have been when the receptionist said she needed my contact information when I knew Lucas Plumbing had it for years. Hmmm. Second clue was when they showed up in unmarked vans. Weird. Lucas Plumbing had a fleet of marked vans. I asked about it and the guy told me Lucas brothers wanted to go on vacation so they sold the business to Ritz. What?!? Really? What a shady answer that was? The reason I had them out was to check on a toilet that made a little bit of a funny noise. I decided to continue with Ritz because I wanted the toilet noise gone and how complicated could that be? Within minutes they determined it was based on my main sewer line must be damaged which they would need to verify with a camera (similar to a colonoscopy instrument). $500 later they said it needed to be replaced ASAP...and how would I line to pay for it? Since it was going to be a $25K job (yes, the guy said the amount as if it were nothing), they could either get a check from me for the amount in full right now or I could apply to finance with them. Can you imagine how quickly I kicked them to the curb?

2015- This company sold & installed our NEW gas wall heater

FEB 2016- Pilot wouldn't light & they arrived to repair. After 40mins, technician said it was irreparable and most likely the venting. Recommended an overhaul and Venting cleaning estimated at $750 or install a new unit for $1400
(That winter my 4month old was in the hospital 2wks+ for Pneumonia but not their issue)

NOV 2017- finally financially ready- I scheduled the follow up.
This time, I called a second company for a free estimate just to compare.
WARDOUR Heating & AC Came within hours and FIXED the Pilot Generator in 15mins!!!
Jesus from WARDOUR also climbed on my roof and checked my venting.

They are thee choice in the SOUTH BAY. Better than fair pricing & HONEST & FAST.

Next Day drove to the Artesia address for Ritz and guess what?? THEY DONT EXIST in RB! It's a liquor store and confirmed This place is a professional scam team.

I called and left 2 polite messages.

Gilbert & Carlos are hands down the best plumbers I have ever used. They were so patient and relentless in finding a dead mouse that's was under my pantry. These men really did care and really wanted to help. Anyone else would've given up. Thank you again for your professionalism, you're both greatly appreciated and I will recommend you to my friends and family!
