Thank you David & Jorge! Great response, and I'm ready for another Tucson summer! Prompt and thorough! Also thanks for getting my thermostats set up on my phone!

On 2-18-20 we had a number of things done at our home and we I signed the approval for the work. It was a very hectic day and I should have read the estimate a bit more closely or checked with my wife on a few of the items. Replacing the bathroom sink drain plug for $306.00 is absurd. RiteWay has always done a great job on our HVAC system and on our water heater system but this job required a re-do and three trips to the house to complete a half day job. Also, ~$1450.00 to clean the drains seems a bit excessive especially when it had to be redone. If I ever call on them again for a plumbing problem I will take the extra time to completely read and understand the work to be done

My husband and I had our old AC unit go out last summer and needed a new one to replace it. We went with Rite Way since they were contracted with Costco (who we highly trust). Everything was great until we had some issues with a part that was missing for our install. This lead to a warm and frustrating week of part swaps and days at home waiting for technicians. On the upside, they worked hard to make things right with us afterwards. They're technicians have always been polite and empathetic to what we were going through. We just had our first routine heating and cooling tune up since our unit was installed. The Rite Way technician who came out, Steven W., was very polite, knowledgeable, and answered any questions I had about my unit. Thank you Steven for being so helpful!

It was supposed to be one of the twice a year basic ac services. Not with Riteway and not Steven Wannebo.

When a service tech is not afraid to answer questions and show you what your system can do, then that tech moves up and stands out. People like that need to be recognized, they make Riteway shine!

Here is the warm fuzzy, if Steven rolls out on your call just know you will be left with a feeling of comfort knowing that everything he does or touches is handled professionally and correct.

Steven took us thru the digital system explaining everything along the way. He was never afraid to allow uS to look over his shoulder and ask the dumb customer question like, ""what does that do?"" He took the time to tell us what was on the, above and beyond, Riteway service checklist and showed us as he completed task after task.

A digital and automated heating/cooling system that requires a degree to operate is intimidating but Riteway's knowledgeable techs are the best people to talk wiith because they have seen it!! Steven is tHe guy for this, he showed us emergency procedures sO that we stay warm during an equipment outage, not that there is much concern in Tucson AZ. Explaining function upon function of what our digital thermostat capabilities are, was another huge undertaking, but he took that time as well!

I could not be happier with Riteway and their choice in employees.

Thank you Steven, it is the people that Make America great again. Lol

I'm reviewing this after 2 years, 5 months. Here's what happened.

I had broken my badly broken leg and was homebound, in a wheelchair/walker with a leg brace. My cooler broke, I called around and they said they could fix it today. This is Tucson, AZ, June, WELL over 100 degrees F.

Long story short, the cooler threw the wheel, they put it back on, billed me $195 and left before it was even cooling the house because ""the pan was still empty"". All they would have had to do to fill the pan was take a bucket or a hose up there and fill it... 10 minutes to feel the cold air, but because of pain meds, and seeing it was blowing air again, I was okay.

3 weeks later, same thing happens. Turns out the guy put the wheel back on, but didn't tighten it. So it came right back off. Took the next guy 20 minutes. a year and a half later, still fine.

Their reply on another site was ""we're sorry you didn't get back to us before you contacted someone else"", well, that's why I didn't. You didn't do it right the first time, why would I ask you do do it wrong again.

NEVER leave the workplace when it's not working, and finish the job before you do. Side note, that other review site has nothing but 5* reviews, and if I log in, there's just 1 1* review, mine.

Wheelchair bound, trapped in a house over 100 degrees F, and robbed by a repair company. Had their reply been ""let me refund you the cost of labor"", even like say, 50% of it, I would think they're trying, but the reply was merely ""oh sorry you didn't let us keep going"". Avoid, or if you must hire them, follow them up there and film them for your local news agency or youtube.

The guy was only there for 30 minutes. Used no parts, billed me almost $200 to *not* fix the problem.

There is NO excuse to bill $400/hour for shoddy work to someone in a wheelchair who can't even check it. None.

None.

Our air conditioner went out on a Saturday. We initially called the company we've used about 3-4 times; they never even called us back. We then called Rite Way. They called us back in a short time then came out within a couple of hours. Matt, the technician was excellent to work with and not only did a great job, he gave us many suggestions for making our system work better. A big plus, he wore shoe covers!! Excellent, excellent, thank you. They will be our go to company in the future.

We had a leak from our condensation pipe and a bum rig that someone's uncle probably put in before we bought the house. It was pouring water everywhere when the AC ran, probably from being clogged. Anyways I called Rite Way and they had Nate out the very next morning, fixed it all up, gave us instructions on how to access and clean it ourselves if that problem should arise again and he even took off his service fee! Now our unit is hooked up the Rite way (pun intended). Not only that, but they have a year warranty on all the parts and if something leaked after he left, he would have come back no charge. This is the company we will be going with for all our AC and possibly plumbing issues now that we know about them.

After posting negative review I was notified I would receive a call from Brandon. I did and he explained the pricing method and apologized for not getting back to me and for the item being above what their pricing method would indicate. Brandon made a sincere effort to make me feel comfortable using and recommending RiteWay. Thanks Brandon.

I am writing this for a friend who isn't computer savvy or able to write this review for themselves. I decided it was my absolute duty to tell you about a company who takes advantage of disabled seniors. My friend called this place to turn her cooler on finally in July because that's when she can afford it. The didn't change her float like she told them must be done every year, they left the dirty cooler pads on the roof and when I had to go up and put a new float on two days later I was pissed! So sick of these lazy ass company's ripping women off! Leaving pads on the roof is for total losers. 9

Service scheduling is a real problem. Call ahead and agree to a day but no time frame to plan with. They try to call 30 min in advance but if I'm waiting all day for a check up they should be able to at least give an appropriate time like early, middle or end of day. That way the customer is able to plan. For the cost of their services and products I would think customer service would be a priority especially with all the poor reviews I'm seeing.
