I purchased a water heater at Lowe's, who in turn contracted with Rite Rooter for the installation. These guys were great! Turns out I bought the wrong water heater, it wouldn't fit in the closet. They handled the return & finding an appropriate sized one, got it installed & up to code. They were very communicative and educational. Definitely recommend.

My AO Smith tank was making whistle and popping as if it was cooking popcorn made of rocks inside. After calling their tech support, they advised me that my burner assembly needs to be replaced and it's under warranty/recall including labor. After the part arrived, I scheduled my appointment and the lady was very helpful mind you this was during new year holiday. Rick and Dominick came as scheduled very polite and knowledgeable - they were efficient and thorough. No more funny noise and I'm satisfied with their excellent workmanship. I called to get a quote and they came out quickly. They got me a quote and booked to come out right away. They got me all taken care of within a few days of the first call. I really appreciate and recommend them. The work was clean and efficient. They are my go to from now on. Price was very reasonable too.

The Keystone Cops could do a better job. They shut off the water for a week while they ordered a part, the heater burner. The heater was not leaking so it was not necessary to turn off the water.

AMAZINGLY IT was the wrong part, and they JUST happened to have the CORRECT one in the shop.

So why did they order a part, if there was one in the shop?I ask a question and said I didn't agree. ""Are you a plumber? Then shut up.""

Excuse me, as your customer you don't talk to me like that. I said, That's your customers service, wow.""

Plumber's helper (maybe son) said, ""We get attitude ever time we have been here.""

I said, ""Get over it. Do you job.""

He then assaulted me when he got within five inches of my face and said ""You need to get over it.""

At that point the plumber said "" were done get a different plumber.""

I walked down my driveway to get a picture of their truck and the helper tried to trip me. Escalating assault to battery.

I would not hire them if the only plumber available was Wylie Coyote with his ACME tools

Lazy, wants to reschedule vs solving problem at hand. Attitude when asked to complete work. Caused as many problems as fixed. Would not call back when repair failed. Had to call a real plumber to complete work. Lowes has the wrong Co. Representing them. Sad.

Just had Rite Rooter plumbing install a water softener great job. They were on time, very friendly and explained everything I need to do to keep it running well. They came out to provide an estimate on a water heater replacement through a contract they have with Lowe's. Before they even entered my two story townhome, they started complaining that my water heater wasn't located outside on the patio (I have no garage). When they saw that my water heater was located on the second floor in a closet, they said it would be an extra two hundred dollars because they had to go up one flight of stairs. Then they gave me (what turned out to be) wrong information on the maximum height of the new water heater I'd need to buy. They said because of the height of my water lines, that I'd only be able to get a fifty seven inch tall heater. I later learned that my water lines are easily movable, and ultimately I went with another water heater installation company that installed a more readily available fifty nine inch tall one at a price lower than what Rite Rooter and Lowe's would charge. Later in speaking with Lowe's, they said they have contracted with Rite Rooter for years for water heater installation. Sounds like BOTH companies are pulling wool over customers' eyes.
