Ugh. What a waste of time. I have had a continual problem with my plumbing since I moved in. Thankfully I have a home warranty, and they have sent out a plumber upwards of ten times to fix it, and they haven't been able to fix it. That plumber asked for a second opinion and Rite Way Plumbing was assigned. My laundry room was flooded on Sunday, I made the claim and called Rite Way Monday to schedule an appointment. They called back Tuesday afternoon and scheduled for Thursday (the original plumber is usually here the next day). He came this morning, I filled him in on the whole story and he flushed the toilet a couple of times, let the water run in the bath for a minute and nothing happened. He said there was no problem. There is a problem and there has been for the past year but you can't just snap your fingers and make it happen. Is it not flooding at the moment because we haven't been using it since last weekend? I don't know, I'm not a plumber and I don't think this guy is either.
Anyway, I asked him if need would at least try to unclog the drain in case that was it. He refused and said the warranty company won't pay unless there's an active problem.
1. Not true because the other plumber have tried that.
And
2. Maybe if they didn't come five days later they would have been able to see the problem.
I shouldn't have to keep standing water on the floor because he can't get here.
So he left and my bathroom is still clogged. I'm not sure why he even came.
I've called the warranty company to ask for another plumber to come out and they have been trying to contact Rite A Way for 24 hours to find out what happened (apparently they need to talk to him before they can assign a new one) and he won't call them back. So now it's Friday which means we won't see an actual reputable plumber until next week and no bathroom through Easter. So not only is his a crappy plumber, he obviously doesn't care about his ""customers"".

I was assigned this company when I called my home warranty company about my hot water heater.
I had to pay a $60 co-pay and it was almost exactly two years ago (July, 2015) but I remember getting a quick response and the technician fixing the issue in an hour or so I would say.
They also fixed a running toilet at the same time by replacing the flapper and fill valve assembly.
Since it was under the home warranty, I don't know what the total price was/would have been, the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars.
But the toilet has been fine (not running constantly) ever since.
The water heater had stopped making the water hot. After trying to re-ignite the pilot light and it not working, they ended up replacing the red button on the water heater next to the gas control knob.
It failed to pop back up after attempting to reignite the water heater.
The directions on the tank say when that happens to call an authorized repair facility.
I don't remember now if they did anything else, since it's been two years.
But the same thing is now happening so I am attempting to get quotes again for the same repair.
If it's $100 or less it's well worth the repair versus getting a new water heater.
My budget is very tight so of course I'd prefer to pay closer to the $60 that I paid before LOL. But my home warranty only lasted a year.
