I'll second Steve's review. I had them go out to my rental property after the AC wasn't cooling. While they were there, they told my tenants that the system was in bad shape and could have mold issues. It ultimately cause my tenants to not renew their lease and hurt me financially. Then Rinaldi's told me it would cost around four grand for a new system. I trusted them and said let's do it and they said they would be there the next week. I called next week after not hearing from them and the receptionist said that they needed to go out there to see what parts needed to be ordered. How can you quote me that much for a system and not even know what parts are needed? So she tells me they'll be there NEXT week so I wait another whole week and call back. Then the receptionist says whoopsie, we didn't actually need to go back to see the parts, we think we know what we need - so she/they essentially wasted two weeks of my time (this whole time it's hot in the house by the way - in summer in Florida). Finally the third week comes and I call because they haven't bothered to communicate yet and she tells me she forgot to schedule me and so I'm getting bumped to yet ANOTHER following week at which point I asked to speak to a manager. She puts me on the phone with Tim (who, by the way did not identify himself as the owner). I explain to him that I'm waiting a month now because they keep making mistakes and he basically told me that he didn't need my business and hung up the phone. Do yourself a favor and go with anyone else - there are hundreds of HVAC companies in Florida. Also I've seen Tim's replies to these reviews - it's like he's not even trying.

I had a carrier unit installed. Price was almost double of any other unit When the installer had a hard time making the inside unit fit , he called the salesman Salesman arrived and tried to blame me that I requested a slightly larger 3 ton unit as opposed to a 2.5 Eventually the installer got it in on his own . Installers are the best people working here - salesman and office are money hungry goons .

Would love to leave no stars if I could. I'm not the kind of person to waste energy leaving bad reviews either but this company is awful and extremely unprofessional and I feel like people need to be warned. In a world where you can throw a baseball and hit 10 different HVAC vendors, I highly suggest you go with ANYONE else. They quoted us an absolute INSANE price without even coming out to check on our equipment - over twice what all the other companies quoted. Their service manager, Tim, was extremely rude and unprofessional. He was the main reason we decided to go with someone else. They wasted a ton of our time and we almost allowed them to waste a ton of our money as well, all while speaking to us very rudely. Do yourself a favor and avoid them at ALL costs.

They were excellent, I called several places. I immediately knew I called the right place when they answered. I needed two visits because a fan had to be ordered. Both techs were excellent. Their pricing is fair. I will use them every time. I am new to Orlando and am very happy to have found these people.

I don't post many reviews but felt this review will save someone a lot of headache and money. My family has given Rinaldi's A/C close to 28k over the last several years so I figured when I called them to repair an A/C in a house I just bought I was in good hands. Nope, that defiantly was not the case. My main issue I had them come out for was the units were producing a lot of humidity. They came out, found some issues with the wiring and said once they fixed it, it would reduce the humidity and run more efficiently. Repair done, $1,000 later and the problem was worse. Called them back out and the tech said I needed new return boxes and ducts as the current set up was not producing the right pressure for the units, that would cost me another $3,000. Yet the previous tech said all pressures were good. So now the humidity is greater then 75% so I was thinking of going with the replacement but found and issue that maybe the reason for the humidity. Why 3 different tech's didn't notice it is beyond me. So I called to talk to a supervisor twice to try to get it resolved and was told he would call me back, that was a week ago. Please don't waste your time with this company, find a company that is truly interested in helping their customer rather than guessing at the home owners expense.

II was told that I had a 10 year warranty on both of my units when I looked it up again and talk to the company they told me that I did not have the 10 year warranty on labor only on Parts send a told me I could get an expensive warranty and it would cost me $900 I get back to them and then they tell me it's that would be for each unit which would add up to $1900 and I asked if that covered everything and he says no only thing is that is covered for $2000 is the inside of the box when it was re-done in the house everything on the outside has to be paid for separately to me I think it's wrong they should've told me even though it's on a piece of paper and they don't want you to really see that until it's too late and if I would've known that I would've never got it done next time if there is a next time it will not be with them I will make sure that I do not get paid 2000 for five $2500 more for the same job I will not do a show anybody sees this review be very careful and make sure that you read everything on the paperwork and make sure that you get everything I mean everything covered that is no hidden cost or labor I wanted to speak to the man that owns the company but they really don't want to be bothered so have him call me back and talk to him in on the phone you'll learn volume mistakes

We made a BIG mistake in hiring Rinaldi for A/C maintenance. We pick their Peak Performance package for $189/year includes 2 visits and basic A/C unit checkup. However, when the air handler needs cleaning, they charged us $273 (a 15-minute job) and it's not even totally cleaned. I see some black growth in the wirings, etc. In short, Rinaldi is EXPENSIVE. Shopping around, Energy Air offers a Platinum package for $265 (single system) and it includes cleaning of the air handler. So with Energy Air for an extra $, your air handler is always clean.

I just had Rinaldi's service my AC. I told the service person that I thought the capacitor was bad. 5 minutes later he informed me that the capacitor was indeed bad and the cost of a new one was $270. I told him I thought that was very much over priced but since he was there to go ahead. The repair from start to finish was less than 30 minutes. The was $348. That included the $269+ capacitor and the $79 diagnostic fee. I subsequently investigated the pricing of capacitors and found they ranged from $12 to $30 (locally at Graingers). I was in a service industry for 30 years and I understand the concept of paying for expertise but 1000%+ markup seems a little excessive. I definitely would never use this company in the future. P.S. I did not get the promised $25 credit for booking online.

Don't use this company, they charge $94 for the estimate and don't wave it even if you decide to go ahead with the job.
