Can't corroborate Nick F's review. I purchased a Delta shower cartridge a couple of weeks ago and it turns out it was the wrong part. I returned it yesterday and received a full refund.

Didn't give them 5 stars because they're only open until 1 PM on Saturdays and closed on Sundays. Otherwise, it's great to have a plumbing supply store right here in Ossining.

I went in to look at plumbing fixtures for a bathroom renovation. I went to RIM because a friend had recommended them for the combination of a wide range of products and good prices. When I walked in, the woman behind the counter, Roxanne, finished up with one customer, who said something about being very grateful to Roxanne for her advice. Roxanne then quickly turned her attention to me. I can't say enough good things about Roxanne. I told her we had a little bit of a tight budget due to whole house reno, and gave her a few of the specs (small toilet, vanity with shelves, etc...) for the pieces we needed and she quickly got to work showing me all of my choices. If I liked an option but it was on the higher end, she ran a few scenarios to show me how to cut the cost in other areas. She drew up and printed a sheet with item numbers and prices for everything we talked about so that although I was only buying some of the items that day I could refer back to the sheet in the future. Roxanne is smart and efficient and knows her products. I think she rotates between their several locations, but having a good salesperson makes all the difference in this process. Great selection of all bathroom fixtures, and they even carry tile, though they don't specialize in tile.

I bought a small $40 piece to fix a sink and later ended up not needing the piece. I came to return it and was charged a 25% ""restocking"" fee. The worst part was, I was told by one employee that it was something the credit card company charged, and told by the cashier that the credit card company imposed no such charge. I was lied to.

To add insult to injury, I later checked a local hardware store that carried the same exact part for $12. This store is very overpriced and run by disgruntled and surly people. Avoid.
