We needed a new water heater installed right before we headed off for vacation. Not an ideal time but we thought it would be a quick and not too expensive item to deal with. Well..... we were wrong. Just like everything these days with Covid and in the NOVA area -- much more expensive and complicated than we thought. BUT RNP came to our rescue. They were very responsive, had the best rates in the area and did the job in one day. We sought out several quotes. We would highly recommend RNP. The only reason for one less star is that I do feel all these companies are adding a NOVA charge to everything. As a military family we know what things cost per area of the country these days. We will definitely call RNP plumbing for future needs.

I cannot stress enough why you SHOULD NOT hire Right Now Plumbing. Although they came highly recommended, our experience was BAD from the beginning. We had a collapsed sewer pipe that needed to be replaced. On Wednesday June 2, ** from Right Now visited our home and gave us quote of $14000.00!!! (high, I know) and a start date of Tuesday June 8. On the morning of June 8, we received a call from them stating the city permit was not ready and they couldn't start the work. We know the people in the permit office and when we called to check, they stated that the permit WAS ready and just needed to paid for and picked up by the plumber. At approximately 10 am, the permit was paid for and emailed to Right Now Plumbing. We were then told, because of THEIR neglect, that the work would NOT begin that day as promised. They then proceeded to tell us that due to the possibility of rain, the work would not begin until the following week. It did not rain until Friday ( this is now 11 full days with no plumbing in our house) At one point, we called another plumber who said they could start work immediately at a lower cost, but the fine print in the contract with Right Now stated the $6800 deposit we gave them was NOT REFUNDABLE!!! We continued to wait. The contractor showed up late morning on June 14th to begin work. They dug the ditch , pulled the damaged pipe and replaced with PVC all in that day, but then said the city inspector CANCELED and they would have to leave their equipment there overnight and we may see additional charges because of that. Once again, a LIE!!! The city of Fredericksburg NEVER inspects (or schedules inspections) the same day!! NEVER!! The inspector showed up the next day and left an INSPECTION FAILED sticker due to the fact that NO PLUMBERS were there to meet him. We were then told the pipe would need to be replaced to the main ( MORE MONEY). They came back on Thursday the 17th and proceeded to tear up the sidewalk and the CURB AND GUTTER ( they were NOT supposed to touch the curb and gutter) They proceeded to leave their equipment there until Friday June 18th. The also left the ditch open, with no safety barrier. We had to install our own orange safety fencing around the ditch. All this time and we have heard nothing from Right Now. We have not seen a representative from RIGHT NOW at our residence. NOTHING!!!! In the meantime, we receive a call stating our invoice will INCREASE and we need to pay in full or have a lien placed on our property! UNPROFESSIONAL and SUBSTANDARD. From start to finish, Right Now Plumbing is an inferior plumbing company and you should look elsewhere. ZERO STARS !!!!!

They overcharge for any service calls and the first guy came out messed up our faucet. Their technician didn't know what they were doing and actually was trying to get on the phone with the water heater distributor to do a diagnostics with them through the phone. The nice thing is when I called them that my shower was broken because they mess it up, they send someone to come and fix it. They than quoted me $500+ which I have the quote here to fix a delta cartridge behind my faucet which only cost $50 buck at Lowes and a plumber quoted me today from another company $150 to fix including parts. They said it was super easy as all you do is switch off the water and swap it out. They tried to charge me $2000 to get a filter that I can't actually use because it was meant for City water. This company care nothing about you and all they care about is trying to get their money. Horrible and do not use.

Horrible experience and these guys will try to steal every dime they can from you. 3 calls later and nearly $800 in charges I still have a clogged drain! They left by recommending hydro jetting for another $650! Got another vendor coming for hydro jetting for $79! They are friendly and came masked and wore shoe booties but that's the only positive from this experience.

Andy communicated his arrival and showed up as requested. Very professional and arrived with mask and gloves. He found our hot water problem in just a few minutes and didn't need any parts to resolve our issue. Andy had previously installed our tank-less water heater and we have always been 100% satisfied.

I am very impressed with the professionalism of RightNOW Plumbing. They replaced my 15 year old Noritz tank-less water heater with a new one. They were listed on the factory web site as factory authorized. Andy Migliaccio the plumbing manager came to the house and gave me his honest evaluation and then the best options for me to choose from. After my decision he gave me a very fair price and installed it quickly with no problems. He is very honest, responsive and dependable.
I highly recommend this company and thanks again Andy for doing a great job!

If you want great customer service from a plumber and you need a plumber now, look nowhere else for your plumbing needs in NOVA. This is the most respectable plumber you will find and the quality of their work is top notch. Very responsive, personable, professional and costs are very reasonable.

I was informed by the technician that they would need to order the part to replace inside of my water regeneration system. That was all good and agreed upon. A few days later the technician called me to inform me that he was ready to return to finish the job. Still all good. We scheduled his return for the next day and he stated he would contact me on his way to the house. I was unable to be there so my wife agreed to make herself available. Still good. Where the service went south was when the technician showed up and informed my wife that he was not able to obtain the parts because they were from another company and the technician indicated that RightNOW was not able to purchase them. Something to the effect that the original company won't let them purchase the parts. Not really certain of his bottom line excuse for not being able to obtain the parts. Knowing that we needed our water regenerating and the RightNOW technician had our system on bypass since the time of his last visit, my wife told him to proceed. After all, they had us over a barrel and they knew it. So, along with the additional cost of a new valve, the technician did not hard wire the new valve as the previous one was. Instead he opted to ask my wife for an extension cord and informed her that we would need to hire an electrician to install an additional electrical outlet closer to the system. Mind you, nothing in the system we're moved. The new parts were installed in the exact same location as the old valve. However, instead of hard wiring our replacement valve, I guess the technician felt it was more appealing to leave 30 foot of extension cord lying on my floor and plug it in across the room. When I called to ask for my old valve so I could get it repaired, I was told that he will try to find and return it. I called a week ago and was told the old valve was located and would be returned to me. Still no word from RightNOW Plumbing as to when I will get my old valve. I received less than professional service along with left with no choice than to accept their last minute informed upscale. Pics attached show the end result.
