This is a terrible vendor for air conditioning services. Don't use them and please someone from the California Department of Consumer Affairs do something about this establishment. Take their business license away. By the way, I do not live in San Francisco. I employed their services through Home Depot in La Quinta, California. Their prices are outrageously high. They want $5,400 to replace an evaporator coil in my Trane 5 ton unit. Other vendors are quoting me half the price and lower.

We had RighTime Home Services come to our home to provide us with a quote to remove an old RO system and add in a simple single water filter system and reusing the existing RO water faucet.  We are in our 70's and have a bit of trouble getting down under the kitchen sink to perform the work ourselves, but were willing to pay a reasonable price to have the work done by this company.  When Brandon showed up we explained what we wanted and he put a quote together.  The original price he said was normal was over $1200, then he said he was able to get his boss to agree to some discounts and finally got the price down to $997.02.  He also said the costs included disposal of the old RO system, purchase of a new faucet since the old one ""couldn't be used"" and the costs to run to the hardware store and back to get parts.

We were shocked at this - what an outrageous price!  We declined his ridiculous quote and we did it ourselves!  The RO system was removed in about 30 minutes and the new filter (purchased on Amazon for less than $90) was installed in about an hour, using the existing faucet and hoses from the old RO system and buying some fittings for $2.15.  Disposal of the old system consisted of a 30 foot walk to our trash bins.  The total cost  was less than $100 and the total time was less than 3 hours, including going to the Hardware store for fittings.  Why this company could possibly price it at nearly $1000 makes me wonder how many other elderly people they have price gouged for business.  Reading all the negative reviews on them (which I foolishly neglected to do before contacting them) should have been a warning sign to stay far away from them.

Super flaky company. Unaccountable employees! During a heatwave and the pandemic this company continued to lie to us about our appointment window to have our AC repaired. The answering service said they had same day service available, when they called back to schedule us they told us it would be 3 days till they can help us. Not great in a heatwave, but we needed help so we took the appointment. We cleared our whole day to wait for the technician, at the end of the day we called and we were told that they would not be able to keep that appointment. They rescheduled us first thing in the am for the following day, or so we thought! We waited till noon, not a word from the company. Called them to get eta and they told us we were not scheduled for an AM appointment, but rather another all day window. Sigh...we waited longer...in.the.heat! While we waited we decided to call another company. Said company has already come and fixed the AC and we are STILL waiting to hear from you RighTime. Pathetic!!! Do not give this company your time and money- I feel like a chump for paying them every month for their ""RighTime Home Services Membership""

PART 1

I have been trying to handle this situation privately with Rightime Home Services for months now, but they obviously have no concern for you or your family. Please read before hiring and spread the word.

My experiences as of late with your company, RighTime Home Services, have pushed me beyond my forgiving nature to now insisting on satisfaction and retribution. The red flags were immediate, starting with ""Duke"", the company sales representative. At the time, the Covid-19 Pandemic was peaking, and this individual proceeded to: inspect parts of my home without permission, inspect my prized classic car after being told twice to kindly leave the garage, open my cupboard and pour himself a glass of water, use my restroom, continuously sitting on furniture and persistent physical contact. (All of this mind you, without gloves or a mask and with blatant disregard for personal hygiene). This whole ordeal involved extremely personal questioning pertaining to financial status, work schedule, relationships, other members of the home, etc. This led up to the fact that he described a different air conditioning system than what was installed all together, not to mention the numerous ""included"" products that were not included.
This however is the least of my concerns with your company. Due to my work schedule, I was not able to supervise the installation. Since Duke was a no show, this worried me more now that complete strangers had access to my house. The air conditioner that was installed, which was not as described, was installed in the wrong area and obstructing views from the home.
When I returned the next morning, I was told by my wife that she could not turn on the air conditioner at all and was forced to stay with family. The ""upgraded"" Nest thermostat agreed on with Duke was not installed. However, a cheaper version was swapped out with the existing higher model. My more expensive and better model was now stolen and nowhere to be found. I was told by different employees that my personal property was unaccounted for and was ""more likely than not, lost in a warehouse"". After multiple phone calls and my own investigation, my property or a replacement was delivered back. The missing products didn't end there. The Nest smoke detectors agreed on with Duke for every room, were not installed, at all. After pleading for the equipment promised, which should never fall back on the customer, I was told that the company would graciously give me two Nest thermostats.
This leads me to the financial aspect of this monumental ordeal. My realization that your company's sole concern is money and not the quality of their products, professional installations, or customer satisfaction, has been solidified over this very short time. My loan for $16,419.00 was posted on May 2, 2020, and paid for in full on July 12, 2020. This shows not only the extremely recent installation and laundry list of complaints in such a short time, but the fact that you have my money so what driving force is there for you to care about me as a customer?
We are now selling our home and our decision to use your company in the first place could not have been more of a mistake. Three days before our home inspection, the air conditioner would not turn on. After all the troubleshooting possible, I requested a technician to come out. The technician immediately found the problem, which was faulty wiring not done to code causing a large electrical shorting inside the box just outside the master bedroom.
This easily could have set our house on fire because of inexperience, poor leadership, and laziness. Im not approaching this in an exaggerative manner. Being a career fireman, I have personally engaged in numerous structure fires, which after investigations have been determined as faulty electrical work. In your own employees words, ""the installation and electrical work was done incorrectly with wrong wiring, wire nuts, length of wire, etc., during the initial installation.""
After the electrical problem could not be fixed because only the installers had the correct equipment, another technician was requested for the next day. When this technician arrived, he did not have the correct equipment either and was now unable to properly fix the problem before the deadline of the home inspection. The unacceptable installation and poor customer service has impacted our family both personally and financially now. We were scheduled to have a home inspection July 19, 2020, to sell our house and that was postponed due to unsafe and poor work from your company.
After explaining this to our seller and ensuring them that all issues with the HVAC had been corrected, we rescheduled the inspection for July 22nd, 2020. During the re-inspection, the heater failed and would not turn on. We are hoping that the buyer will proceed with the sell, but he has legitimate concerns with this system, as do I.

Told there was no clean out and it would cost $1200 to correct this involving breaking of wall, drywall fixed after the fact etc. Second opinion received and we were shown where 4 actual cleans outs were. We were lied to. Clogged issues resolved within 20 minutes.

Rightime guarantees customer satisfaction or my money back, this has been on going for 18 months. My air conditioning unit is leaking water. I have been requesting to have units removed and want a full refund like they promise on contract. Rightime has not repaired any of the damage. Stay away from Rightime the quality, workmanship, and customer service is terrible. I have also brought this matter to Home Depot, they were advertising HVAC service from the store and contracted Rightime to do the work in my home, they also have not doing anything to help me. Look at the photos would you want this to happen to your home? This is all from poor installation resulting in major water damage. I'm asking for a full refund and to have my home repaired, my calls are being ignored management will only contact through text messages.

Kenny came the same day I called. It was a simple fix of a kitchen faucet. Turned out to to be somewhat of a problem but Kenny tackled it with knowledge & professionalism. He was courtesy, wore a mask & booties over his shoes. Completed job 100% and the price was way less than expected. I will definitely be using this company for my plumbing, heating & air needs. Thank you !

We scheduled for an ac service at 8:00 am. Waited until 2:30 before we called to find out no one was coming. They made a mistake with dispatch and there was never a appointment made. Never go with the big companies. Always go with the mom and pop that care about their customers.

I'd give a zero stars if I could. I now refer to them as WRONGTIME. I had water leak at my front patio. The first crew out charged me $1400 and didn't fix it right, leaking again. The second guy came out and ""fixed"" it saying the first 2 guys did it wrong. It leaked again and the second guy came back, told me not their problem, even though it looked like they damaged the pipe where it was leaking. They also screwed up my hose bib, clogged it with dirt and rocks, replaced it. Offered to fix it all right for at least another $6000. I told him to get off my property. Ended up contacting someone to fix it right for $3200, but only after finding out the first guys also screwed up my irrigation, probably with rocks and dirt. Then RighTime sent me a survey and I was very honest and clear about the poor work, expensive cost, damage done, and the mess they left around my front door, splashing mud around, and setting my siding on fire. I got a message from the quality manager to call her. I did, asking for a refund in the message I left. ZERO RESPONSE! This company is inept and crooked! I still have to pay to get my irrigation fixed, watering by hand in the meantime.

UPDATE: 1 - they irreparably damaged my sprinkler valves by flushing a bunch of debris into the line. 2 - I had to pay someone else to replace the valves because I'm disabled and can't do it myself, because 3 - when I originally complained about the poor service, dirty conditions left, and damage done while ""repairing"" the pipes I had a message to call them ""TO MAKE IT RIGHT"". I called, got a voicemail several times, and they never called back from my messages. They overcharged me and fixed nothing, except for a spigot the busted with debris (pulled a huge rock out when they removed it). They charged me for that too. I had to pay another plumber to come out and repair their work, besides paying a friend to repair my irrigation they damaged. AVOID THIS COMPANY!

We had our yearly maintenance and Martin was the gentleman who came out to do the service. He's a very friendly helpful man who goes out of his way to fully explain everything to his customers. He goes beyond his job make the customer feel good and even came back when he told us to bring filters we needed. Martin Venegas is a great worker and helpful. Ask for him and you won't be disappointed
