Right Now Heating and Air Conditioning

We wanted a contract for service to make sure our HVAC system was in proper order (fall and spring). The guy showed up on time but it was quickly apparent he was out to make a buck. Our system is 4 years old but he let me know about 2 capacitors were out of spec and the switch on our heat pump was sparking. It will be about 2k from the company, but he would gladly do it outside of the company for about 400 bucks. I'm no moron and saw right thru this. I had another company come out 2 weeks later and after the look over (in which no issues were brought up) I mentioned what had happened and did not name the company. He said while the capacitors have dropped off a bit (which was normal) they were still fine. And the cost to replace them is quite cheap. And for the switch sparking, he laughed and said they all do that and the switch still looked brand new.

I plan on calling the company to get a refund on that garbage pressure sales event I had to endure but after reading all the other reviews and seeing the luck everyone's gotten with return calls (as in....not getting any), I doubt I will have any luck.
