This experience was the worst I could possibly imagine. They showed up and told us it would cost $298.00 to clear our kitchen sink without even coming inside to look. We said no thank you. Their ad says $88.00 to clear any drain. Finally they said ok we will do it for 188.00. So we said ok they did not clear our drain only tried snaking it once. So then they said we need our whole house done with new pipes for 10,000! This place is a joke. Please do not ever think about using them.

Called 5 times to speak to a manager. Still nothing, this is bullshit. Payed $700 for a few hours work, was told to wait till morning to turn on my water had to wait till 11am before water district should up. Was told over phone I get a 10% my bill.... you think that happened. NOPE. Technician was nice, management is terrible. Small fish here, guess that's why they don't give a shit.

USE GREAT CAUTION IF YOU ARE GOING TO USE THIS COMPANY!! The guys who showed up were nice enough, but the prices were sky high and their recommendations were WAY too aggressive for the problem to be solved.
I was having drainage problems with the sink, toilet and shower in my only bathroom. Daniel showed up in a timely fashion and gave me a $342 estimate to run the snake.. When I commented that the price seemed high, he said ""I just look it up in the book and charge what it tells me"". After removing the toilet, he was unable to clear the line from inside and called his boss who had him run the snake from outside access under the bathroom, which still, reportedly, was not successful. He and his boss, Brian, returned the next day with a camera, and after sending it through the pipes, reported that the camera ""went to black"" and the pipe ""just disappeared"" and they ""have no idea what is going on"". Brian's recommendation for a diagnosis only (not including repairs) was a TWO DAY job including:
1) create a new bi-directional access point in the front yard (completely unnecessary. I found an existing access on that same side of the house, which was used for all the work from then forward)
2) dig up several of my plants -- some quite large
3) create a huge ground hole in the area before the suspected ""blockage""
4) get heavy equipment to come in and poke around until something could be figured out.
Estimate: $3,300.00 plus repairs from the findings
I told Brian I was going to get another estimate because that seemed like a lot of money, and I did not know what the average cost was for this type of work.
Only AFTER I told him I was getting another opinion did he bring up a hydro jet option. He stated it was $800.00, but that he did not recommend it.
My ""second opinion company* came the next morning and snaked the line successfully multiple times -- able to pass the snake through from the first attempt -- NO OBSTRUCTION. However the line was still backed up. Larger drill tips were put on the snake and it passed through again without problem, but the line was still not draining. Cost for the snake: $100.00 (versus $342.00 from Rescue Rooter). Hydro jet was then recommended (to spray off all the gunk from the sides of the pipes which could be the problem) for a cost of $500.00 (versus $800.00 from Rescue Rooter). Hydro jet was done the next morning and the line cleared in about 20 minutes.
Total cost: $600.00 versus Rescue Rooter $3,742.00 plus repairs. Absolutely no grey area here.
*FYI - My ""second opinion"" plumber is Raul from Exact Plumbing. He has excellent reviews on-line, and deservedly so! He is now MY plumber!!

Our technician Eric was professional and thorough and personable. Very skilled. He came out and spent several hours on a Sunday and left after doing a fabulous job. Our drains are thoroughly cleaned now. We highly recommend rescue rooter and especially Eric Causey.

This is the worst service I've ever had almost anywhere.
First the scheduled time for them to come look at my sink was 4-7. They called my fiancé and said they would be here at 3:30. That's not the time we had planned for but I was home. He told them to come by. They didn't. Then they called at 4:30 and said they were 20 minutes away. Come 6 o'clock they called me (thinking my fiancé still wasn't at home with me) and said because we were not ready at 3:30 ( not our scheduled time, yet we were ready) they would have to reschedule for tomorrow. I told them they already said they would be here twice and never showed and then my fiancé got on the phone and they were caught! They tried to play me and say it was our fault they had to reschedule when he got on the phone and reminded them of their previous calls they said they would have someone out by 7. 7:45 comes around they still have not shown. When we called the dispatcher they say that they will not be out for another 2 hours!! Waiting for them to come that late and not answer my door. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

DO NOT USE - I can't recommend calling Rescue Rooter (Riverside & Jeremy) -
I was very disappointed after having someone else recommend Rescue Rooter. I had blockage on the sewer line leaving my house. They came out and used a camera to inspect my sewer line. It wasn't clogged, but could be cleaned, so they said hydroblasting the line will clear the clog ($1,400, 1 hr of work). After the hydroblast. My neighbor came by, and they talked him into hydroblasing also (another $1400). After they left the sewer backed up again. I called them, and same guys came right back to check the problem. They camera a Clean Out access into the house. They discovered that the blockage was a few inches away from where they access to hydroblast, between two Clean Out, 24"" apart, directly in front of the house. They went on say that I had trap on the main line between the two Clean Outs and that it wasn't to code. So the only way they would fix the blockage was to redo it at $3900. This made no sense to me and I asked them to snake the line. They refused, saying they would break the pipe and the trap, so they would only redo the piping. They left me with sewage draining from one clean out hole to the other, 18 inches apart. I was surprised when they said, this was OK for now.
My neighbor came by and we determined that there was NO trap between the Clean Outs, only a straight pipe (24"" in length). So I borrowed a power snake wire, and we removed the toilet in the closest bathroom to access the sewer line. We snaked the line and cleared the clog, in 15 minutes, and had it put back together and cleaned up within 1 hour.
Rescue Rooter (Riverside) appears to have No concern for the customer, only trying to charge as much as they can, especially if they know you a vulnerable (e.g. Senior Citizen, Poor health). They also tried to get me to redo my sewer line to the street for$18K to $29K. I assume these guys probably make a big bonus/commission for the more money they can bill for the company owners. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

This company is unprofessional and horrible communication service. They gave us an appointment at 10 in the morning it is now 1pm and all we hear is excuses. Very uncaring however they did offer to cancel the appointment. How convenient.

Called for Riverside service. Was told a plumber would be out for an estimate for regulator valve, air gap install, and dishwasher install the same day. Received a call back twice to confirm what I wanted, the second call, the guy sounded annoyed at my request and told me it would cost $200+ to install the air gap and I had to tell him twice that I just wanted an estimate for all three things. By 5pm I get a call that they will not be coming, so I reschedule, they tell me to make sure I answer their call for the next appointment confirmation call at 8am, I did this. My second appt was for 11am, I get two more calls that morning that they are running late, so now they are supposed to show up at 3. I get a confirmation call at 2, then a call that they are running late at 3, then the kicker call at 4 - no one can get out, do I want to reschedule?, then the guy says, you should probably call someone else. What a waste of time... apparently my job was too small to be bothered with. Will never bother with this company again. I'm telling everyone I know not to use them either..

I LOVE these GUYs! They came and did an amazing job! They know their Sh-t! Jus ""sayin"".... Thanks so much for sticking it in with us and ACTUALLY getting the JOB DONE! I would first like to say THANK YOu Justin Ballou for your patience and hard work Brian Johnson for your expertise and well-managed team also technicians Chris and his partner, who's name we didn't get... but I will just say the Tall Blonde Guy lol.... Both of you....Thank you for making it possible to finally get a shower (smile) and for knowing your trade! thank you RESCUE ROOTER! Best,
Barbara, Tai & Willie

BEWARE!!!
I was extremely disappointed in the service I received when I called at 6:00 in the evening because my toilet was not flushing. When the technician finally showed up the next morning at about 10:00 he explained there was an issue with their telephone service the night before. Ok I get we are all only human and things happen. But I have now been without a flushing toilet for 16 hours. I explained what happened and he went outside to clear the clog. I also explained I was new to dealing with this because my husband recently passed away. The next thing I know I have a second person here. He lets me know he had told my husband our sewer pipe needed to be replaced. Then he proceeds to tell me the pipe has collapsed and I will not be able to flush the toilet or take a shower until I have this work done at a cost of $14,000. I explained again the my husband passed away and I could not afford that. I asked them to just get the toilet to flush and shower to drain. He said it could not be done without spending $14,000.
After they both left I called another company and they came out and within 30 minutes they had it unclogged and said they found no sign of a collapsed pipe. The only difference? I did not tell the 2nd company about my husband.
I feel they tried to take advantage of my situation. When I got the invoice for what they didn't do (unclog the pipes) there was no mention of this work that needed to be done for $14,000.
I will never call this company again and I will tell everyone I know about my experience with this company!!
