Called ARS @ 8AM on 11/12/20 for a clogged bath tub. Made an appt for between 4 and 5 pm same day...the office called me at 4:30 to tell me the tech was behind on a job and would be at my place in about an hour and a half (around 6pm) and that they would call when on the way.....at 8pm the tech was no where to be found and no call...i called the office and was told the tech was still at the previous job and now couldnt be out to my place til around 10pm....i asked why they couldnt call me and let me know this so i could call another plumber before ""emergency"" rates kick in....i told her if he doesnt show by 10 i will cancel my appt and take my business elsewhere....well guess what?? No call and no tech....while i cant rate the work (NONE WAS DONE) i can rate the customer service....absolute GARBAGE!!! and if the customer service is any indication then the work is probably the same! I will take my money and business elsewhere....

I am female and 60 years old. I believe those 2 facts have something to do with how I have been treated.

In July, ARS Rescue Rooter replaced a 50 gallon water heater with a 75 gallon water heater. Cost $3,800. Since it was installed, there has been air in the pipes throughout the house. I must step back each time I try to use hot water. All of the pipes make loud noises; enough volume to keep us awake. The problem was reported and the installer was sent out twice. He acknowledged the problem and said he did not know what to do. He did offer to replace the pump (at least $600) to see if that might help. He suggested I call a manager. I called Dan, left messages and he has not called me back. When I call to get help, I am offer a technician. The last technician that came out said he was sent to install the expansion tank??

I have reported the problem to the BBB. I will next file a discrimination claim regarding gender and age with the help of my attorney.

Made a 3 to 5 pm appointment. They called at 3 and said they were running late and will call back to keep me updated. They called at 5 but will come as soon as possible. Called me at 6:45 pm and said they will need to reschedule for next day. I called main office and complained. They promised to come that night. The plumber came and said to clear the pipe he would have to cut the pipe and repair it and quoted me 475.00 I asked why that I was told 88.00. He said because he had to cut the pipe. I told him to leave. Called roto rooter in hemet ca and they unscrewed the cap at the top of the pipe (no cutting or repair needed) and cleared the clog for 99.00. Rescue rooter can not be trusted. Tried to rip me off. Had appt june 30 in perris 2020. My name is Tom. (I give that info because I want them to know who I am) Always get multiple quotes! But never call rescue rooter.

If you want an honest technician, ask for Alvaro. After spending hours on my sink, he was able to do the best he could. My house has bad piping so there was only a little that He could do but he kept telling me my options and we came to a solution to fix it. He was very clean and extra cautious of any mess he made. I would definitely recommend

Our Rheem water failed after six months of usage. We had to repeatedly call ARS to come and fix it. They installed it in the first place. They had to come five separate times to ""fix"" the heater. Between the faulty replacement parts, the late arrivals, the lack of communication, charging the customer despite labor being warranted, and even having the customer fill out their damn paperwork...no. Just no.

Total rip off ARS/Rescue Rooter. Had them come out to my house a few days after Thanksgiving to unclog my bathroom sinks. It took them a few hours past the time they said they'd be here before they showed up. Now a few months later the sink he was supposed to fix is leaking. There are rust marks around the stuff under my sink so who knows how long it had been leaking. I called to let them know about my problem and they said it is no longer under warranty and that I would have to pay the service call fee along with anything else that was needed. They already charged me over $350 to fix it the first time. I spoke to a plumber friend who lives too far away to fix it for me that he would have only charged anyone with that problem less than $100. I won't call ARS/Rescue Rooter again, gonna try Mike Diamond the smell good plumber they are cheaper and their technicians won't smell of cigarette smoke.

let me start by saying the first plumber and the second plumber that came out was very nice and did a good job.i had a sewer clog.this happen every 3 or 4 year.they come out and fix it and clean the clog no problem.it us not over $200.well they got the snake locked into the pipe.the boss came out and said it would be $5385 to fix it.well you have no choice but to fix it as it was over flowing in the house.well they jackhammer my drive way and got the snack out.next the boss came back and showed me a hazy picture of the sawyer pipe.i could tell anything from picture.he said the pipe was broken and cracked.well 3 years ago they checked it out and all was good.the boss said it would be $4115.more.total $9500.every thing is all tore up at this point.i check around with other plumbers and they said

If I could give this business zero stars, I would.

8/13/18: We went through Home Depot to purchase and install a new water heater. The ARS Rescue Rooter technician (from Riverside) totaled our order for over $2,800, saying we would need to obtain a permit and pass inspection by the City. He left us his business card.

We didn't pass inspection. After three visits from the RR tech to fix his own work, two visits from the City inspector, two days of waiting for service, a rude phone call with the RR guy who had left us his card saying he doesn't handle complaints, and phone calls from RR to ask us about our installation, we finally passed inspection.

Mediocre service, poor installation, bad attitude, a fouled-mouthed installer and no phone call. Bottom line: ARS Rescue Rooter doesn't want to know if you're satisfied.

Update 2/10/20: The water heater ARS Rescue Rooter installed 18 months ago is now leaking. I called because it's under warranty. The technician came out and wanted to charge us $1,500 to swap out and install a replacement water heater even though it's under warranty. He wanted to charge us a $350 swap out fee, a new city permit, and he wanted to replace all the plumbing hookups that were only 18 months old! Ridiculous.

Luckily, I found a neighbor to swap out and install a warranty water heater for $400.

And I'm going to tell Home Depot that ARS Rescue Rooter doesn't deserve to be their installer.

Keep looking for a better and honest installer. This company only wants your money,

i called ARS Rescue Rooter in Riverside, CA and they were recommended to me by Home Depot. When the plumber Jorge was his name came out he took forever looking under my kitchen sink to reattach a new faucet and reattach the dishwasher and garbage disposal pipes because i had a new sink put in. Then he gives me a quote of nearly 2,000 dollars. I could not believe this outrageous quote and asked him to leave. He seemed surprised and said it was alot of work. This is not true and I am a senior citizen. I was going to put in a water heater with them and it cost much less. Something is very wrong here! cheats? you better believe it!

Over charged for their services!

I had a tech come out to fix a leak that was coming from the wall in our men's room. They charges $675 to open the dry wall and diagnose the cause of the leak. They said they would credit this money back against the actual repair work.

They found the source of the leak and quoted $3,800 to replace 4 feet of copper pipe and 1 T-Junction Pipe!

I called another local plumber and he fixed the problem and only charged $850 for the same work.

Always get s second quote...
