MJ Ridgeway Stoker and Sales was started by Monroe Jefferson Ridgeway in 1945. Operating from a downtown shop on North Avenue and Kedzie, Monroe Ridgeway and his family managed the business. When Monroe retired in the 1970s and moved south to Tennessee, his son Doug took the reins of the family business. The company was renamed Ridgeway and Sons, and as it expanded, it became Ridgeway Heating and Air.
In 2007, Jason Ridgeway rebranded the company as Ridgeway Home Services, adding plumbing and electrical services to provide a comprehensive solution for home comfort. Jason Ridgeway, owner of Ridgeway Home Services, works diligently to offer cost-effective home comfort solutions to customers in the Chicago region. With a background in the heating and cooling industry, Jason has a wealth of knowledge and experience with virtually any home comfort system. Jason takes pride in the quality of services and installations offered by him and his team at Ridgeway Home Services, with some recognized in trade magazines and blogs. With his grandfather and father in his thoughts, Jason Ridgeway proudly manages Ridgeway Home Services after taking over the family business.

Jodi K.Had them come out to fix my AC 1 month ago and was told that I should not have another issue for a while but then they recommended $2000 worth of things that they would recommend to be done. When they left I asked them if I should be ok to think about it for a bit and get back to them. They said we shouldn't have another AC leak for awhile since they cleaned out the lines. Less than 1 month later I am having the same issue and it has now destroyed the drywall from the leak. I tried to call to set up another service to have them come out and take a look, explained what happened and now they will not call me back. I paid $240 and I am now having to call a different company and pay again for something that should have been fixed. Bad customer service, atleast call your customer back. Mean while I have an AC that I can't use in 90 degree weather......
