Originally I had scheduled another company to perform work on my sewer and for whatever reason the company never came back to start or finish the work. Rick's was next door doing sewer work on my neighbor for the same issue we have and that is back up sewer. Well since I never heard back from the first company again I called Rick's and Jay came by and explained everything and gave me an estimate. That was 4 days ago and like clockwork they arrive as Jay said they would and completed the job in 4 hours. The other company said it would take 2 days. I am very happy with the professionalism of Rick's people starting with Sherry in their office, Jay and the men who came out and did the work. I will use them again and I highly recommend anyone looking for a company to do work for them call Rick's you will not regret it.

Used a different plumber with mailed coupons who recommended digging up my lawn with an impenetrable blockage. Called Ricks next and they rodded through the blockage in a few minutes. Promised to arrive in 2 hours and showed up in 1 hour. Charged me what they said on the phone. Gave some suggestions for maintenance instead of major work in the future. Pleasant and professional the whole time. Worth it to skip the coupon discount guys .

Ricks guys came on a Saturday morning and cleared our Evanston home sewer line in an
hour or so. Very professional and even showed us the clogged tree roots by camera. Luckily, no digging was necessary. They are the best.

These guys are great. We needed to have a sewer clean out installed, and I couldn't be happier with the service they provided. Jay was nice, professional and courteous. He ensured safety and relieved by burden by getting the job done. He was professional and friendly. An added bonus was that he had same name as my son. I burned my son's barbecue chicken dinner because I was doing other things. When i tried come up with an excuse, Jay offered grace and said ""blame the plumber (smile). So he had a nice sense of humor as well. I am relieved because he fixed the problem efficiently and now I can finish my laundry.

These guys are great.

When we discovered that our house sewers weren't connected directly to the city sewer but through the septic field, they came and fixed it. I was expecting the entire backyard to be torn up and in complete disarray; I was astounded at the care they took getting equipment over the lawn. When they were done, it was almost as if they hadn't been there at all, except for the seeded strip where the trench was. Two years later the dirt has settled the grass has grown in and you'd never know there had been work done. I've had them back to replace ejector pit and sump pumps and they are professional, informative, and absolutely reliable. They are my go-to guys!

Rick came to my house and and cleared the line going out to the sewer. Showed up when he said he would and took care of the problem. Also gave me some advice about possible future issues and how to best address them. Excellent service.

This company is a subcontractor of R&S Plumbing. We were quoted $225 to have our main sewer line rodded out which we were told would take an hour or so. It turns out that it was a simple bathtub clog that took the plumber 5 minutes to unclog and we were still charged $225. This is highly unethical and they gouged us. Do NOT ever use R&S plumbing or Rick's Sewer and Plumbing. Totally dishonest.
