Pat M.Horrible. They unhooked our dishwasher without telling us not to use the sink until it was hooked back up and the entire downstairs flooded . We agreed to put the dishwasher back but didn't realize they unhooked the hose. That would have been good to know. Owner of rich's argued they did the work and that was all they were responsible for. but they don't stand behind any type of quality and I would not recommend $700 to replace a piece of pipe. Would have been happy to pay, as I understand trades men are with the $$ but there has to be some level of communication with homeowners. We don't know everything the trades men do.
I had a bad leak in my bathroom on Sunday Afternoon and saw they are 24/7 to help so I called them. I got a woman on the phone and she said they will call 15-20 minutes. With every drop dripping all over my cabinet and panic mode set in trying to find someone. My wife was on the phone and called 4 places and not one called us back either. I recalled the number to them and told the woman I didn't hear back from anyone and is a emergency. She said she will let them know this is 2nd time I am calling and she will have someone call. No one called from 5:15PM since the last call. They are not reliable if they have 24/7 advertised.
Edgar F.I had plumbing replaced shower head and handles for one of the apartments I own. I paid for one product that the plumber told me he would install. I left the apartment and came back when tenant advised me job was done. Cheaper handles were installed not the ones I paid for to be installed. Called company would not fixed the situation claimed ones I wanted installed were $1,200.00 and plumber would not have given to me at that price. BEWARE Scam artist!
I can assure anyone that I'm real customer that Rich's plumbing is attempting to threaten and discredit. The plumber's name was Marcel Marquin and still have my receipt and order no 37158.
Quoted me a price to snake my sewer line from the house to the street. They only snaked from the curb to the street, yet charged the same price. When I saw the invoice I questioned the price. They said that they fixed the problem. I felt ripped off. I would not use them again
DO NOT USE this plumbing service for any type of service , 6 - 22 - 18 needed service on main pipe in basement cause toilet was clogged , techs went to basement and supposedly cleaned main, they said done $ 240 6 - 23 called them back still same issue , tech came wanted to charge $200 to snake toilet when I told him it was main in basement , he didn't care what I was telling him he then said if it didn't work he needs to charge $525 to remove toilet and snake it , didn't wanna hear it's the main pipe in basement , i told him good bye , 6-25 called again same issue, they said $325 cause it wasn't under warranty ! , now if they had fixed it right the first time nobody would have to come back , this plumbing service doesn't care about who they rape , why try and charge 3 times for something they should've fixed right the first time !!!!!
So far, so good, I've dealt with them for 2 different issues and in both instances they arrived on time, and were polite and resolved the issues. In the first instance, I had a leaking pipe which leaked to a lower level of the house, the technician Gary identified the problem and fixed it within an hour. It's worth mentioning that they only do the plumbing, not the patch work. In the second instance, our central air conditioning was no cooling, and the technician fixed that within an hour as well. Both times we were given time slots for arrival and each time the person arrived promptly.
Stay away!! They are the biggest rip off in the market. Will never ever use them again. No integrity and very unprofessional.
Neeraj M.Rich's plumbing has been to our house 3 times to help with plumbing issues and each time I've had good service from a courteous technician, a fair price, and they're great with follow ups. I recommend them for people in Central NJ, they're a good local business I'm happy to support.

This is a very long overdue review, but with a newborn baby at home it's been hard to find the time. That being said, my experience was so negative, I'm revisiting months later.
The boiler in our house was not working, so after asking for recommendations from friends, I was lead to Rich's. I called MANY places that day, and was only interested in meeting with plumbers that would give a free estimate (I met with 2 other services that day that also provided free estimates). I specifically asked the girl on the phone if that was the case, and was told yes. I set an appointment for a technician to come over a few hours later.
As time has passed, I don't remember the technicians name, but he was very nice. He was very helpful, assessed the situation, and told me what needed to be done to fix the problem. I WAS GOING TO FORK OVER $1400 AND USE RICH'S SERVICES. It should be stated that it was very cold in my house, and I had a 1 month old baby. As he was packing up to go, he told me that I owed them $90.84. I nicely said that I was told it was a free estimate. Kindly he told me to call the company and let them know, as sometimes they will honor what they've told you. Taking his advice, I called and spoke to a guy who told me that the girl I spoke to was new, and that's why she gave me incorrect information. I stated that while I understand that we all make mistakes, we are also held accountable for those mistakes, and I shouldn't have to pay for a service I was told I wouldn't be charged for, as I would've just not made the appointment. The technician in my house told me to ask for a manager. When he got on the phone he was incredibly rude, and told me that he had heard my conversation with the girl in the morning and I was lying. He proceeded to tell me I would still be charged and that it was my fault for not understanding correctly. Here was a man bullying me on the phone and LYING, while his technician was standing in MY HOUSE. No matter how nice the technician was, I was very uncomfortable and suddenly felt unsafe. I told this to the manager. Despite this he continued to berate me. At this point I had 2 choices-- tell him to go to hell, or pay this charge and get the technician out of my house, as I was a woman alone with a baby, just trying to get her heat fixed.
I was bullied and lied to by this company. I urge you to NOT use Rich's under any circumstances. I generally think Yelp is an unfair assessment of a company, as people usually only leave bad reviews, but if this is how the company operates it needs to be said so you're not taken advantage of and put in a uncomfortable situation in your own home.
