They had fixed a few plumbing issues for me in the past and I was happy with their service even though their fee just for a visit is on the high end. Last time I called I arranged for a service call for the following week. That day came and went without so much as a call from them to let me know what to expect. I finally called them @ 4:30 to inquire and she said she would get back to me and she NEVER called me back. Well, I guess they didn't want my business. Unprofessional to say the least. If you need a reliable plumber look elsewhere.

These people were very unprofessional in how they handled my issue. Thank God I found someone else to sort out my kitchen. I called them numerous times asking when I would get an estimate, only to be told the master plumber wasn't in or for some other reason they could come up with. These people did not have the decency to call back to say they wouldn't take on the job FIVE MONTHS AGO. Do not use this company.

They came to my house to give me an estimate on fixing my leaky shower. Nice area, nice house, woman! First glance at my shower he told me that it's a nightmare to fix, he has no clue how to fix it, there might be not flexible hose connection, some kind of parts that I never heard of and again, he stressed out that it's a nightmare of a shower, that all the knobs must be removed in order to take off the panel. That they charge $299 an hour plus parts and to contact manufactory for instruction on how to fix it. It's just your regular panel shower. SO they don't actually give you an estimate, they just give you a paper stating their hourly rate so they can charge an arm and a leg for nothing! Honestly, there might be stupid women in USA, but I am not one of them. I know this panel is easily removed even though it's a bit heavy. So I removed it all by myself in about 3 min to uncover very simple internal setup where one hose just slipped off the fitting. I tightened it in 2 min and stuck it back onto the brackets. Entire repair process took 10 min. If I allowed them to scam me I would pay a lot of money for nothing! Not only any self respecting plumber should know that taking off the shower tower is a snap, but he would respect his potential customer and not try to scam by telling stupid lies. Any honest professionals left in NYC?

Great people great plumbers. I had a very badly clogged drain near my basement door and with a lot of hard work and knowledge Tyler got it cleared. I am so grateful for their work. It is not fun worrying if my finished basement will get flooded when it rains. Tyler was very professional, clean and nice. I will continue to use Richmond Plumbing & Heating as well as recommend them to anyone I know.

I recently had 2 plus feet of water in my basement due to recent heavy rain. I have used Richmond Plumbing services in the past and have always been satisfied with services rendered. The lead technician Tyler and John and Luke were all wonderful ! Tyler was extremely knowledgeable and caring . I was very stressed but Tyler rectified the water issues and also addressed a couple of other issues to a successful conclusion . thank you to all I really appreciate the professionalism both with the office staff and all the technicians ! special shout out to Tyler who was very caring . From the moment I called, till the moment I signed my check, all involved were completely professional, honest & sympathetic to my needs. When Chris arrived he was straight forward to the point & k ew what had to be done... he was honest & showed me the failed parts.. told me what he was doing& fixed everything in a matter of Minutes at a very reasonable price! I could not be happier!!! I hate needing repairs but I know for sure next time I do I'm calling them!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

My gas furnace crapped out on me. I called many places and each sent out a Salesman versus a technician. While all were free estimates, the estimates were mostly emailed to me the next day.
Then I met Joseph Vento, one of the owners of Richmond Plumbing. At first I didn't know he was an owner, but I can tell he was no ordinary salesman, he was the owner and an honest business man. He knew his stuff and was a down to earth extremely honest and friendly guy. He gave me a price that blew everyone everyone else away. And I offered an additional $500 if he could do it within the next few days as he first said his schedule was tight. He made some phone calls and told me he did not want the extra money and he would be here the very next morning!!!! Wow!! His staff showed up early and by the end of the day the job was done!!! This was a big job (old water radiator system).
They were polite, professional, and left the place spotless when done. I was lucky to put the bill on an empty charge card and called card company first and they gave me 12 months at 0% financing.

Their service is horrible. I called them for a leak I had in my kitchen and I was told that the plumber will come out the next day between 1pm to 4pm. They never showed up at all. I called them at 4pm and asked them what happened to the plumber. They stated that they can send out a plumber now or I can reschedule. There was no call to say that the plumber was running late or he or she could not make it at the stated time. There was no consideration for me as a customer waiting for over 3 hours for a no show.
