David did a great job unclogging our shower. He was on time, very professional, quick to resolve the issue, and cleaned up prior to leaving the site.

The shower was apparently clogged well beyond what we could reach and fish out using tools readily available to normal consumers. We had standing water for weeks.

We have not had issues ever since.

I had drainage issues with the bathroom, at the same time the washing machine was leaking, I called Richardson Plumbing and was advised to call the City of Norfolk first. If the issue is not resolved to call him back. I did and the City confirmed a stoppage in the sewer line and is handling the issue. I appreciate the advice and honesty. They could have told me that in person and charged a service fee. I will definitely be using them for future needs.

My mother (almost 70 years old) lives in Virginia Beach and hired David to do a plumbing job for her. She asked him to replace a toilet in the upstairs bathroom in her house. Come to find out the new toilet in the box had been broken... David told my mom it's okay. She went to get a replacement toilet from Home Depot while David told her he will wait while she exchanged the broken toilet. He carried the new toilet upstairs, installed it, and it works great.

I haven't heard my mom speak so highly of plumber in her entire life. Huge shoutout to David for his professionalism and quality of work. Thanks!!

We've only been in the Virginia Beach area for about a month. Dave Richardson from Richardson Plumbing Company was recommended to help replace our kitchen sink. He came out and realized the sink we ordered was not the correct size- even though it didn't work out this time, we offered to pay, but he wouldn't take any money for the time he spent. He even fixed a leaky toilet we had without charging.

Once we get the correct size sink, we are calling him back!

Wow, what can I say about Dave that hasn't already been said. We have been without hot water for two weeks now. Our warranty company sent 2 plumbers and 1 electrician and decided that they will cover our water heater. However, the plumber was going to charge us something outrageous for things we didn't need. We reached out to our realtor for a plumber and he gave us Dave's info. My husband called him today and he came this afternoon to diagnose the problem. My husband called him late afternoon and they discussed being able to do it tonight!! What a great guy! So he came and put a hose on the water heater to drain it while he takes my husband to Home Depot in his work truck to purchase a new water heater and install tonight!! He even has doggie treats for the fur kids!! Seriously, great guy and super professional! Thank you Dave for being awesome one working late on a Friday evening.
