We had a problem with our upstairs shower that we were worried would become a huge problem. He arrived soon after the call, and had made the fix quickly. The pricing was incredibly fair (lower than we were braced for), and he took the time to clearly explain what the problem had been as well as what future troubles could occur due to our pipes' odd placement. He was really quick, really courteous, and very tolerant of our two noisy/nosy dogs.

I didn't like there service. I called a couple of times. Never returned my call. I needed our pipes looked at. We had a leak. It would have been nice for them to return my calls.

We have lived here in Hudson for many years. Curley has always been trustworthy and completely reliable.....this morning, we awoke to a very cold house and could not get the heat on. No one was able to come out for possibly ""days"" but Curley sent two gentlemen out within a couple of hours. Though they did not recognize the system, they tried their best and got the heat on again! Professional, courteous and so diligent! Yet another positive experience with this company! Mr. Curley and his wife are great!!! They rescued me (not a lie). The day before a big interview, I was about to take a shower when I realized my hot water heater stopped delivering hot water. When I went to investigate, I found a big, growing puddle in my basement.
I panicked about how long it would take to find a plumber who would do the work, and how long it would take to replace the unit.
(Did I mention I'd been unemployed for about a year? Also why I REALLY needed that pre-interview shower.)
Richard's wife answered the phone, recognized the panic in my voice, calmed me down, and told me she would talk to Mr. Curley when he came home for lunch and see if he might be able to stop by right after lunch.
These two were as good as their word, and better than most plumbers' word, in my opinion.
Not only did Richard stop by, but he diagnosed the problem, and actually FIXED it right then and there - replaced one part and did some wrangling with another. He did NOT sell me a new unit, he did not overcharge, none of that.
I literally paid less than I might have for an estimate visit by most plumbers. All this for someone who was a first-time caller/customer.
I am and will be forever grateful to Richard Curley Plumbing.
(And yes, I got the job.)

Our water heater stopped working yesterday. I called Curley Plumbing and the woman that answered was the sweetest! She helped me with our problem and our new water heater was just delivered and installed! These people are amazing!!

I have recently had some work done by Richard and his team and they Done everything like they said they would iwas happy with the outcome but I think for two hours work $900 dollars Was a bit over-the-top as we did ask for an estimate before the work commenced So maybe next time Richard you should communicate more with your customers and thank you for not cleaning up your garbage

Honestly the first time he came to my house he did a great job and I paid him on the spot. The next time he came to do something fairly simple he stayed for 3 hours and charged me $1000+, he said he'd ""bill me later"" and the bill was completely ambiguous and marked up. He also charged a late fee before I got the first bill and threatened legal action so I pay immediately. I feel robbed. Stay away.

Mr. Curley was very professional and reasonably priced. He was able to fix my garbage disposal within minutes. I am so glad it wasn't a bigger problem and he didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. Very honest plumber. I should have called him sooner instead of living for months without a functioning disposal until it backed up the drain. Definitely recommend.
