we had purchased our Water Heater from Fox Plumbing in Lakeland Fl 3 years ago.. We had NO Hot Water so we called Fox actually left 3 messages never received a call back! So my husband finally got a hold of the owner Rick Fox told him our problem and he went on to tell us well the fastest we can get by you would be in 7 DAYS from now? We said seriously we are to be without HOT Water for a WEEK? We purchased from you and that's the service we get?? He said yep I have other customers so that's it!! Then he had the nerve to tell us to see if someone comes in sooner go for it!! Well we did call another reputable company who said we will be there in 1-3 hours!! It turns out when FOX PLUMBING put our water heater in they NEVER put a Valve on it to turn water off and on.. AND they did not hook it up to the correct Wattage needed for the heater to run correctly so as it turns out the heater was running constantly causing the problem and costing us a lot of extra $$ ... We had it fixed in an hours time!! CORRECTLY!! We called FOX Plumbing to inform him how disappointed we were with him and his company.. As of now he never even bothered to call us back! A company that treats their customers like this should NOT be in Business!!

What can I say about these guys they are consistent at the very least. Josh has done several projects for me, including installing a hybrid water heater and the attention to detail second to none. The efficiency and service is a huge reason I continue to use them. They stand behind their product and service which is hard to find these days. They usually come out immediately when needed and if they think it can wait, explain why which I highly appreciate. Communication is critical with me, and you can't get any better with them. So look no further for the best plumber here in Lakeland and surrounding areas!!

I got three estimates to do some plumbing work. They were the highest but they were recommended to me. They were supposed to add plumbing drains to a second floor bathroom. They did but it didn't clear the drywall that was cut out to install the drains. So I had to redo their work. They were also supposed to replace a tub drain and said they would come back once I remodeled. They got paid to do it but wouldn't come back out. I will take the lowest bid next time since everyone does shitty work anymore.

Amazing! I purchased a Bosch dishwasher from Home Depot, paid $200 for installation, and although it's been here over a month, it never has worked. A second installer came out to check it and determined that the dishwasher was faulty. I am supposed to have a NEW dishwasher replacement installed tomorrow, but thought I'd better call a plumber and have him check out this original dishwasher... Tommy, from Richard Fox Plumbing, came into my home, walked into the kitchen, put his finger about 2 inches into the disposal, found and removed the plug that comes standard in disposals.... less than 2 minutes in my home and my """"faulty"""" dishwasher works beautifully!! He also repaired a shower head installation that had been installed incorrectly, and fixed a running toilet.... all in less than 30 minutes! I am SOOOOO IMPRESSED! All for much less than $200, and done correctly!!!!

We've been using Fox Plumbing now for going on 4 yrs. Very punctual, very professional every time... Pricing thus far has been reasonable by comparison and service has always been personable to say the very least!

We called for a quote after 5 (8 pm) for a clogged toliet and he wanted $140 an hour min 2 hours and then climbing on our roof for additional money and then additional money for ANY equipment they would have to use. So basically $400+ just to start..lol I unclogged it myself with a snake for $15. Stay WELL CLEAR of these jokers.

I had an appointment for 11am today with them, I confirmed with them yesterday that my appointment was still on, but when confirming it they asked if I can do 8am instead of 11am. I said yes so I arranged time to be there this morning. But I got a call 9 minutes before 8am today which is in the 8am-9am time frame to arrive. They called at 7:51. Said something about sick kid, and the other parent is a teacher. I know that teachers have substitutes that can teach and when the primary teacher is available such as when the teacher is sick This would have been better than them cancelling my plumbing appointment 9 minutes before the arrival time range. I confirmed the appointment the day before and where I arranged time to be at home for the appointment. I guess they don't want new business and want bad reviews on the internet, such as Yelp, Google etc..... They could have arranged another licensed plumber to come out, though it might have been a little later, but at least still in the morning.

When I originally called this company, the guys were there within a couple of hours, on a Friday afternoon. They were friendly and professional, and rebuilt my kitchen sink pipes in a hurry. However, they did not test the pipes to see if they would reach my kitchen sink. When I called again on Monday to tell them of the mistake, they said they would rebuild it again, but would still charge me. I think they should have fixed the mistake, free of charge, so that's why I'm giving them 3 stars.
