Hans is the absolute best! We had an issue with our bathroom shower, I could not get the water to stop flowing. I had to shut the water to the house altogether and then proceeded to call Rich the Plumber. Hans showed up at our doorstep a half-hour after my call and saved the day! He was thorough and charming, and I couldn't beat the price! My daughter was visiting from Michigan and so the prompt service was greatly appreciated. You guys rock! All I can say is GREAT! I called 2 plumbers on Tuesday and neither called me back! I called Rick the Plumber & those 2 other plumbers this mornin, in case they didn't get my message. Rick the Plumber called me in 20 minutes. I explained my problem. He said he'd have someone at my house within the hour. 25 minutes later, Hans was here. He was great. My problem was bigger than we thought. Roots from old tree in front yard grew in the pipe. It took him almost 2 hours to remove the toilet; extract 5 feet of roots; install new pipes; re-place toilet and then clean up! Thinking the work would cost thousand, I was pleasantly surprised with such a reasonable price. He instructed my husband what to get try to alleviate future problem. Rich the Plumber is the greatest! Highly recommend!

Called Rick the Plumber to install an expansion tank, after the Town installed a back flow valve, making a """"closed system"""". He arrived the next morning, as promised, and proceeded to install the tank mounting bracket. To find the wall stud to attach it, he pounded on the wall, then made his first attempt. Missed. One hole in the wall. Tried again, and missed again. Hole #2. I finally offered him a stud finder from MY toolbox. Lose 1 star. Now he opened the new expansion tank box. An expansion tank comes pre-charged with 35 psi of air pressure. Before installation it should be charged with enough air pressure to equal the water pressure to the house, which is 50 psi at my house. Never did that step, so I now have to do it. Lose star #2. Now to mount the tank to the wall. But wait, the metal straps that he brought were almost twice as long as needed for the tank he brought, and wouldn't work. After searching in his truck, he found two short straps that, hooked end to end, would work. But no second strap. Was told he would come back later, or Monday, with the proper straps. No show. Lose star #3. To his credit, the installation is neat. Good solder joints, level and square piping. But at $150-175/hour, I expected better.
