Marianne R.If I could give 0 stars, I would. I paid almost $30k to have new furnace and HVAC installed in July of 2022. Adam Guber was my sales rep. He wanted me to purchase a maintenance agreement...I declined saying I'd get one later since it was brand new. He also told me that service for A/C and Furnace was Included free for the first year. I scheduled an appt. with Tina on Nov. 14 for service. It was scheduled for today between 12 and 3P. At 3:10 I called to see where the service person was. I was informed by Tina (after being put on hold 3x) that I had no appointment. Further conversation...she said it was cancelled, but didn't know by whom. Further conversation...Tina informed me that since I did not get the service agreement, she would need to charge me $160 and the Second visit would be free. I am livid!!! I spent most of my day waiting, got no phone call, no service person and the runaround by Tina!
I guess they got my 30k and no longer have interest in me as a customer. Buyer Beware!! My next call will be to Sierra Air!
I have used them since 2012 when they installed my furnace. Every 2 years I call and have maintenance done. In 2021 it was $115.00 today I was charged $187.50. Higher since the employee had to come down from the Lake. I understand travel time but I thought maybe they could had the tech come to service me then drive to Lake. Over 60% is a little hard to understand. Before you call them talk about travel time and off season rates. I will definitely look for another company that value repeat customers
I needed a total Heating and AC system replacement and went through the Costco incentive program. I couldn't be happier; The price was competitive. (everything these days is expensive) When I used my Costco charge card, the savings amounted to the cost of four new tires and two fun shopping trips to Costco.
Formerly Ray Heating, I've been using them since the area code was (702)!
1. Real people answer the phone
2. Old-fashioned customer service
3. Experienced and responsive technicians
We had an appt with the sales tech from RHP. When we made the appt we told them what we were looking for. The sales rep arrived and after tell him what we want he had No experience with it at all. Said he would ask someone else in the company but then said he just got a text message from one of his workers that he had to respond to. He proceeded to go sit in his truck and after 20 mins my hubby went out and asked him what was going on. His response was he was talking to another customer and would be with us shortly. Hubby said No appt is over you can leave.
Great way to treat a possible new customer!!
Kathy B.This company should be avoided at all cost. They came to my neighbors house to fix his furnace when it was really cold. They said the could nor figure it putt but they did some little thing and hoped it worked. It cost $500 and did not work. Do we had them out again. This neighbor is a shut in so I went to talk to the technician. He had on bib overalls and looked extremely unprofessional. I told him I really hoped he could fix it this time since my neighbor had no heat. I left him to do his work. I went to the garage where he was working. He was o. The phone calling someone because he could not figure it out. His solution was to turn off the heat I. The main part of the house and see if the heat would go to the back. After a few minutes I felt heat I. The back do I went to tell him it was working. He was I. His van on the phone. I stood by his window waiting for him to acknowledge me. He did not even look at me. So I tapped on his window. He still would not look. So I tried his door and it was locked. Finally he came out and I told him it was working. He said ""good"". The next thing I noticed is that we was in his van driving off without a word. 2 days later it stopped working. So I called another company. They came in a uniform. They diagnosed the issue in minutes and had it fixed in a couple hours. It's still working. So stay away from RHP
M L.I needed a new furnace put in as the one that came with the house was 20 years old now. Last thing I need is the furnace or blower for the AC to go out in the middle of winter or this heat wave we're having now. I saw this deal at Costco for 15% rebate to Costco from the total sale price. I called and got an estimate. The guy was very professional and emailed me a written estimate inc, the Costco rebate. This RHP works on some big commercial jobs as well as residential, and they have a real sense of quality and professionalism about the way the carry out the business and installations.
They are expensive though, compared to the other installers out there, but they really stand behind their work and the first 2 yearly maintenance visits are free. They had several high efficiency furnaces and the new one ran way better than what was in there before. My furnace is in the attic, so that was a pain in the you know what, but RHP handled it like they do this everyday.
I'd recommend RHP Mechanical, just try to get a Costco deal if you are purchasing a whole system, heating or AC. They replaced my water heater at the same time too .... wow, that made a difference!
A compressor started making a loud noise and I decided it was time to replace our two zone, 20-year-old HVAC system. I contacted Costco and was forwarded to Troy at RHP Mechanical Systems who provided an estimate with several options. I decided to go with the recommended Lenox units and scheduled the 4-day job. A highly skilled and professional team, including Kenneth, Mike, Chris and Francisco, have become family members during the last 4 days during their on-time, scheduled repair. Their custom fit of the new system to the old ductwork was outstanding and they left no residual mess. Their examination of the crawl space ductwork from the original 20- year-old installation revealed poor craftmanship, which they repaired. Their work was planned so that interruption of air-conditioning during the day was minimal and we experienced no interruption during these hot August nights. Mike (with Troy's approval) made recommendations for a design change not in the original contract, making it a lot easier for me to replace filters. The new units are much quieter and more efficient than the old units. We are pleased RHP customers. If you need a new HVAC, we highly recommend RHP.
Came home from vacation to find my air conditioning not working with the temperature in my house in the mid 80s. RHP had someone out the next day and everyone I dealt with was an absolute pleasure. They will definitely be my first call next time I need any service. I can't recommend them enough!
Golucid G.This outfit saved my tail several times.
My first house had a furnace installed by another firm back in 2011 or so:
Lennox Elite Oil Fired Furnace
Model #02305-140/154-6A
SERVICE # 4609L49697
I had nothing but issues with the installation and I was told by the folks that installed it that it was an 'oil line' issue and I would need to spend 10s of thousands to repair it.
I called RHP for a second opinion and voila, they noticed that the installation of the lines was done backward, and boom! All worked just fine.
RHP saved me needless stress, costly needless repairs.
I can't thank them enough for sending Dennis their Furnace expert.
The only reason I gave them two stars is because the expansion tank on my hot water heater (they installed) got puncture hole and was warping my hardwood floor. They sent someone immediately. Then it all went downhill. They charged $220.00 for service call which seemed reasonable. But to put new tank on was a nightmare. I called four times for a written estimate which never came. The lady on phone said not to worry was 200-250. I finally said ok. Bill was $457.00. So total of $677.00 for repair. I was subcontractor for 4o+ years. Not giving an estimate is not knowing your job. I'll never use them again. PLUS while repairman was here he said my furnace filter was wrong size, imagine his embarrassment when he saw RHP installed and wrote filter size down.
