Lalo does some work for my HOA. He came out multiple times to look at leaking in my second story windows. I told him that I was concerned about mold because of how long the water intrusion had been going on. The HOA gave him permission to drill exploratory holes in the exterior stucco to detemine if the water intrusion was due to damaged flashing, paper, etc. Instead of doing that, he came inside and took a facia board off the window, exposing a gap between the vertical window pan and the drywall of the sill. The issue was never where the water was going, rather where it was coming from. When I asked him why he did not drill the holes outside (which is what his task was), and why he took the facia board off, he said that the board was decorative. I explained that if there was mold, he had potentially released mold spores into my home. He told me multiple times that there was no mold. I told him that there was no way he could see mold in the air. Mold tests confirmed that black/toxic mold was in the area he exposed. No competent contractor would open up drywall known to have long standing water damage without first putting up a containment area. Furthermore, he either lied to me to cover up his mistake or is totally ignorant about mold when he assured me multiple times that ""there is no mold."" I will not let him in my house again. I reported this to the HOA board.

Lalo was recommended by my drywall guy. We agreed to install a door inside my home. Late, the night before, I realized I should add a security hinge to the door. I bought them from Lowes. The next morning, I asked Lalo about replacing the stock hinges with the security hinge(s). He said his guys did not have time to do that. I said that only one hinge needs to be replaced, but I could do it if he was uncomfortable. He replied by cancelling the installation.

I do not recommend his services.

RHI was recommended to me by my glass contractor who was also a great company to do business with and so I was happy to call on RHI. From my very first meeting with Lalo Topete I knew I would hire him.
I was not and am not disappointed with that decision. Of the three different crews I had working on my project, RHI was by far the best.

My new middle deck looks amazing! Now, I know who I will hire for my top deck.

Lalo runs a high quality operation. I had RHI remodel not only my bathrooms, but also my entire lunchroom and commercial office. His group is responsive and trustworthy and I would highly recommend him to any homeowner.

RHI did a fantastic job installing our new kitchen window. Lalo was very knowledgeable and utilized really solid trades people in moving electrical and re-stuccoing our smooth exterior finish (which came out wonderfully, i.e., you can't tell a larger window was installed in place of the smaller, original window). Most importantly, Lalo was at the job site almost constantly to ensure the work was performed properly and to our satisfaction. Bottom line, we would use RHI again, without question.
