Nice guys. Sometimes responsive, sometimes not. But unfortunately, really terrible plumbers. We did a whole-house remodel with Reyes Plumbing, which included five bathrooms and one kitchen. A few years later, we've had to hire other plumbers to fix the vast majority of the work, including a broken toilet, a garbage disposal they installed so badly it had to be replaced, shower handles installed incorrectly, a drain cover installed so badly that the inner parts cracked, kitchen faucets that have come detached from the countertops, and more. When things first started to break, we asked Reyes to come fix them, but they either claimed they were fixed or told me the problems were unfixable because of faulty parts (although other plumbers were able to fix them). Reyes stopped responding to my calls and I stopped trusting them to be able to repair anything anyway. They charged me for so many hours of trying to get things to work during the renovation, all of which I'm now sure a competent plumber could have done in far less time. I'm worried -- if all the visible plumbing work was done badly, who knows what leaks or errors are happening inside our walls?

We had a terrible experience with Reyes Plumbing. The crews were often loud and rude, but that was the least of it. What was worse were the errors made on our project, which the owner was slow and reluctant to fix. A month after the work was done, we even found an uncapped gas line that had Reyes' crew left open. Will never work with these guys again.

We hired Reyes Plumbing to do a sewer inspection on a house we were buying. They sent us a video file December 1st, but the file would not open. They promised us a hard copy of the video once we sent a check. The check was written December 2nd and cashed January 7th, but we still have yet to receive the video and it is now February 3rd. They have not responded to two emails and did not answer their phone when I called either.

A few days ago I had a problem at my home. One of the water pipes under my house burst in the middle of the night. I shut off the water supply to the house and started looking for a plumber. I had used different plumbers over the years but decided I would try a local plumber whose trucks I see on a regular basis. The owner came out later that day and gave me two options for repair. One was to just fix the one pipe and the other was a more extensive replacement option. I chose the more extensive option because of the age of my house and the condition of the pipes. The work was scheduled for the next day which was a Saturday. The crew spent all day on the job. The owner and crew were very professional and did an excellent job. I am very pleased with their work and the price I paid. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing plumbing work done. I will be using them in the future if needed.

For a while my toilet has been giving me some difficulties. The water pump or some mechanism of that sort would constantly go on by itself. Sometimes you could hear the toilet working by itself in the afternoon, sometimes in the middle of the night. This of course, was wasting water unnecessarily. But because of procrastination, I never got to solving the issue or calling an expert. However, there came the day that suddenly (well, as you can see, not really suddenly) the toilet started working at all. After considering the options, we called Reyes Plumbing. Making the appointment was easy. The staff, especially their secretary Patricia, was very friendly. They came the day of the appointment and explain to me that my toilet is a bit old but they were able to find the right parts to make the old thing work again! excellent job Carlos and team!

My toilet is pretty old and when I am ready to replace it, I am definitely calling the Reyes Plumbing team. Great job guys!

Carlos Reyes of Reyes Plumbing gave me the most reasonable estimate to fix my water pressure problem. He explained the necessary work (re-piping using copper) and upgrading the pipes from the water heater. He did not make extra work to make more money and even replaced a leaking pipe at no extra cost. The technicians were very professional and worked steadily. It was the best plumbing work I`ve had done in 40 years. Altogether, an excellent experience! Give them a call at 510-215-2131.

I am visiting from Hawaii housesitting at a friends beautiful house in the Berkeley Hills.
Suddenly the sink stopped up, the dishwasher flooded and I was in complete duress.
I called Reyes Plumbing and Mr. Reyes said he could be there by 230 that day.
Not only was he prompt. He was probably the most professional,competent,and all around gentleman I have come across in a long time. He went above and beyond to fix the problem and was so informative as he went along.
This business deserves to be recognized. They are local, very knowledgable, and above all gave me the peace of mind I so desperately needed.

I called last Friday morning for an appointment because I could not get a rusted and stuck screw on one shower knob that I want to replace. The lady said she'll give me a call back after she talks to her technician. Heard nothing. Called around 4:00pm, the lady said her technician just came in and that she'll give me a call back in 10 minutes...will still waiting. I guess small jobs are not worth their time.
