I don't recommend him for his lack of character. I used him once to clear my house drains. Attempting to be loyal, I called and set up an appt. several months later for the same. We agreed on a day/time but on the day he was supposed to show he called and asked to reschedule. No worries, not an emergency. Set to the next day- no-show/call till end of the day. Reset to the next Monday. He called to say he arrived and when I asked him to start w/o me and that I'd arrive 10 min. later. He then got weird saying he needed a ""contract"" (for a cleanout?). I said huh? He then said ""I'm not your guy"". Well Rex, you're not my guy either and just because you're getting a lot of fire reconstruction work shouldn't mean it's ok to jerk around a bread and butter customers like me.

Rex is the best. We recently had a serious gas leak at our house. I called Rex after hours and he promptly returned my call. He arrived first thing the next morning. Rex was there the next 3 days. He was professional, knowledgeable and his fees were very reasonable. Rex would not stop until he knew the problem was solved and my family was safe. He responded to text messages and phone calls which most people don't do. Rex is our plumber for anything in the future. I highly recommend Rex for any plumbing issues. Seriously there are so many plumbers out there! It's so hard to know who is honest and knows what they are doing.
Rex is the best! He won't overcharge you. He does what he promises. He knows what he is doing. Don't waste your time with anyone esle!

Rex has been our plumber for quite a few years, through rental properties, as well as before, during and after remodeling. Rex was clean and non-smoking, he kept his work area, which was my home, neat and clean (he has these wonderful rugs he puts down on counter tops and floors). Rex is always in a good mood and, even in the worst plumbing messes he was professional and reassuring. His work borders on artistic at times and he has calmly and politely corrected plumbing errors made by previous owners and contractors - nothing phases him, he's not negative and he never bad-mouths another contractor. Start with Rex - he's not the cheapest or the most expensive, but he will only do the work required and he is the best plumber in Ventura - you'll be happy with his work - it's perfect!

Came to my house right away because my faucet was broken. Went out for a new one, and when it was not longer available, came back with 4 options he had bought! Was willing to open all of the boxes so I could see them and put it right in.
