I hired this plumber to install a shower trim kit. They quoted one price at $225 and then the technician gouged my eyes out when he got here lying to me about what was actually needed for the job and said it would be $425. I already had purchased the CORRECT cartridge and the trim kit and he tried to tell me it was going to be over $425 even though I had all the parts. This guy is a thief.
Then, he convinced me to replace a pleated piece of pipe under my kitchen sink as he said these wear out quickly and begin to leak. I agreed to let him replace with PVC pipe and now it leaks in 3 different places!!! It was not leaking at all before he replaced some pipe. These people really do not know what they are doing and they will make you pay in full before they even arrive to do the job.

I would never recommend this company. They are out to steal from people and scam people
He said he refunded me 100% he did not. You have to earn trust and respect. This company knows nothing about earning trust and respect. This man tried to scam me and then when I called him out he started reducing the price. If I had been a naive uneducated woman he would have gladly taken hundreds of dollars from me knowing that he was being completely unfair and over the top. He thought I had no sense. I paid to get leaky pipes under my sink. Wow.

Revilla was referred to me by American Home Shield on March 31, 2021. Revilla scheduled my appointment for April 8th, 1 week later between 2-4 pm. At 5 pm on the 8th I received a call from their office claiming they had a flat tire and basically couldn't / wouldn't come. She rescheduled for April 9th, the next day, same time. On the 9th she called and claimed a technician of theirs had covid but the owner wasn't telling his staff or customers. I told her I would call her back because she still wanted to send her guys that were working with someone that had Covid to my elderly mothers home. I called American Home Shield and was advised the girl with Revilla Plumbing had cancelled my appointment 5 minutes earlier and they were reassigning it to another company. I haven't heard from that plumbing company yet and I finally reached out to a sales representative with American Home Shield I know that works for them. She is trying to help but still nothing.

Do not use or trust Revilla Plumbing. I do not recommend them and I have already started the process of filing a complaint with American Home Shield, The Bexar County Health Department and the CDC for their conduct and failure to service my moms house!

This company was what my HW used I was not able to research myself. First visit was ok. When it came to repairs a series of events and poor communication. The female worker Ann who called to update me on time changes was very polite and every time spoke with her she remained so. The "owner" did not handle my frustration properly and called me dramatic. The males unfortunately did the most common thing of being rude and condescending.I was not going to write a review and asked technician to please let his boss know he should not call someone dramatic and he stated he was not going to be part of that conversation. Ok, then here is my review because I am not calling them again.
Notes for proper customer service:
*NEVER call any customer dramatic, validate their frustration. No water is a big deal.
*Call or text 20-30 minutes from arrival. Even if there is a window scheduled. 90% of companies do that and its a fantastic courtesy.
*the technicians proper response should have been , yes I will forward information, and that's it.Hes not agreeing with me, hes not taking sides, hes being polite. Even if he would have not forward information but don't make the customer feel like its their fault.
Communication skills definitely in order and now reading past reviews its an issue. You can have great skills but if you come off as rude you will not get recommended.

Needed to replace the shower head and valve in my shower. Found Revilla's on Thumbtack. When they contacted me they came by right away looked at the shower and said they would need to order the whole valve, not just the cartridge due to the brand and style of the shower valve. They said they would need to order the part and would be back in a couple of days to put it in. They said they would contact me with appointment when the part came in

Two days later I received a text message saying the appointment was scheduled for Monday from 8-12. At 12,since I had not heard from anyone, I called and they had no idea I had an appointment. They didn't even have the part and blamed the parts store for the mix up and said it would be another couple of days. I had to resend pictures of the part that was already "ordered" so they could order it again.

None of this would have been a problem had Revilla's just communicated what was going on.

I had to eventually go with another plumber who was able to replace just the cartridge (which was much cheaper than what Revilla's said I needed) from a part he got at Lowe's within an hour of me calling their company. No special ordering was needed.

Not doing business with this company again

This guy promised he'd be out between one and 2 o'clock I waited two hours for him in the hot sun never showed never call I would not recommend him at all. I am a 62 yr old senior with a heart condition and can't believe there are men out there that would just not care about people. May God take care of people like this.

I have used Revilla long before Revilla's Plumbing...almost 20 years. He has provided me with the most amazing experience since I have been using his services. I have followed Mr. Revilla because of his experience and high quality service. Now as Revilla's Plumbing, their response time and service is even better. I will not use another provider as long as Revilla's Plumbing is around. I recommend and share them with everyone I know who needs the services they provide!!!

Reliable and very professional plumbers! They know what they're talking about and don't try to charge you for work that doesn't need to be done. I'm so happy with the work I had done. Will definitely call them if I have any other plumbing issues.
